A. VOLCANO
[ She listened to what they had to say about the planet, and passed the test, etc. ... and yet, she's still hanging back at the volcano, looking mildly disturbed. There could be some clues to Atroma, important goods to trade or sell, jobs to take ...

But this just seems wrong, doesn't it? It's the castle brainwashed villagers without all of the magic.

And so, she continues to hesitate ... ]

B. FOREST

[ She eventually does leave the volcano to enter Mor, but aside from a stop for food, she goes straight through and out, for now. Instead of interacting with the poor people of the city, she wanders off into the forest alone with a picnic basket.

If she missed nothing else on the ships, it was the fresh air and the outdoors. So she's sitting against a tree, eyes closed ... maybe she's napping? ]

[Someone else is on her way out, after finishing some chores and doing her duty by the planet. But Ino's hesitation calls her attention somehow...]

Something wrong?

[ino]

[ Right, there are other people around ...

She blinks, and then frowns ]

No, it's just ... [ She makes a vague gesture towards the exit to the city and the ... exhibit ] It just seems cruel, to do that to those people.

Hmm? What do you mean, exactly? [She looks at the exit to the cave...]

[ino]

To keep them ignorant that way, it just seems like ... some kind of big, creepy human experiment? I guess that's it.

[ She doesn't really know how to put this into words without having to explain Paradisa and all it entails ... ]

[Hange understands what she means, regardless. She looks at Ino quietly for a moment, and then suddenly smiles.]

You've got a good head on your shoulders, haven't you? You're right, it is something unkind to do to them. Who do you suppose really decided they should live like this? Is there a cadre of upper-class folks who are really in the know? A government in charge of them from off planet?

[Manolo's noticed her concern, and can't help himself from wandering over to offer a smile. ]

Are you okay, senorita? You look worried.

--Hm? Oh, I --

[ Wait a second this guy is made of wood what in the hell ]

Uhm ...

[ Sorry, she is kind of staring. The last time she'd heard of something like this, it would have to be some kind of ninja puppet. She glances behind him to see if there's anyone controlling him from a distance ]

[puro]

[He would be the worst ninja. He blinks, then slowly turns around to see what she's looking at. Why is everyone so weird here? He carefully turns back to face her.]

...Well. Okay then.

[ino]

[ Notices his confusion. ... Oops? ]

Uh, sorry. I just haven't ... seen anything like you before.

[puro]

[His face circles a little at the 'anything'. Wow, rude. He doesn't seem to take it to heart through, just giving a little smile and a shrug. ]

I'm getting that a lot. I'm human. [Paaause.] But apparently the wood thing is just where I come from.

[And, partly to make a point that he is an anyone, instead of an anything, and mostly people he's polite: ]

Forest

[Adachi was just passing through the forest, looking for Dorian's villa when he spies a familiar face. He'll call out as he approaches, waving a hand in greeting.]

Hey, Ino-chan! It's dangerous to be napping in unfamiliar woods, you know?

[ino]

[ She lets out a little sigh before opening her eyes ]

They're not unfamiliar, I already checked them out.

[cabbagedetective]

[Adachi does his best to sound like the grown-up, adult detective that he totally is.]

Just doing my job miss! It's my duty as a police detective to look out for people, after all.

[ino]

[ She gives him a curious look. ]

You know, you're not exactly on the clock here. You could make this a total vacation if you wanted.

[cabbagedetective]

[Now that he's all full of un-entitled, self-importance, Adachi keeps the false bravado going.]

Justice never rests miss! A good police detective is ever vigilant for signs of trouble!

[Beverly's curiosity has gotten the better of her, but after having listened to the instruction video, she severely regrets leaving the ship. With the intention of heading back and tending to her sickbay, she turns around, almost running into Ino]

Oh, hello!

[It's good to see a familiar face at least.]

[ A little distracted at first -- ]

[ Then she seems to realize who's actually talking to her, and her expression brightens a little. This lady seemed nice enough. ]

Oh! You're the doctor from the other day. Dr. Crusher, right?

[She offers Ino a small smile.]

That's right. Thank you again for your help. I can't say I'm used to all this yet, but I'm ... adjusting.

[If by adjusting you mean constantly thinking about a way to get home then sure.]

Forgive me for asking, but are you all right?

[ She'll offer a more reassuring smile. Even if Beverly is older than her, she's always there to support the people who are new. ]

It's no problem. You were assigned to the Blue Fish, weren't you? I'm sure Sokka and Allen are there to help make the whole thing less terrible, too.

[ Oh, right. She noticed. Oops. She rubs her arm uncomfortably ]

I'm alright, just ... [ She gestures towards the exit to the planet ] Thinking I might skip out on the whole "town" experience.

[It's kind of funny how being stranded on a spaceship will make you miss nature. At home, and even at Paradisa, he took it for granted. He didn't really go out unless he had to. But whenever the fleet docks at a planet, he can't help but head for the green. Away from the noise and crowd, being out in the field had a remarkably calming effect.

He blinks when he sees someone at a tree, and starts walking over to make sure they're okay. And then he realizes it's Ino.]

Ah, Ino--!

[He muffles himself when he realizes she's taking a nap. He can't help but give a little smile though, because that seems like a really good idea. So as carefully as he can without disturbing her (if he hasn't already...), he simply lies down on the the grass and folds his arms, looking up at the sky and watching the clouds.]

[ino]

[ WHAT A CUTE.

She'll stir after a few moments, noticing she ... has company! ]

Eh? Tsuna ... ?

[He perks up, then sits up a bit and smiles at Ino.]

Hi, Ino! Sleep well?

[ino]

Yeah, I guess so ... I didn't really mean to doze off like that.

[ Oops. It's just so nice out, though ... ]
