i know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
( for N-Z characters )
Before you post your toplevel comment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. N-Z names comment here, and A-M names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your comment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.
Noctis Lucis Caelum {TW: Mentions of Violence}
Off to one side of the room rests various items (this time scaled to a reasonable size) - a cake tray topped with a mountain of pastries, a rubber sword and shield, a disposable camera, and an open box with a diamond ring. The sword and shield could easily pass as useable weapons for defense in this situation, were they not obviously made to be ineffectual and unable to cause real damage. The cakes gave off a light warmth and seemed edible enough while the camera was plastic and without film. Of the trinkets, the ring seemed to be the most intricate, a crescent moon carved in the center of the diamond that was set within the piece of jewelry. The band itself was silver with no other remarkable features. Off from the rest sits a strange looking creature that resembled a fox. The creature had light blue fur, a red jewel resting in the center of his forehead, and he was currently watching expectantly for any visitors who might appear.
Noctis himself, was nowhere to be found, but that didn't seem to bother the animal that guarded the place in his stead. Beneath the table and in the surrounding areas of the room were more toys, books, and various trinkets along with a black toy car.
Still, there is a choice one can make - those curious what these items could have to do with the room were free to touch them or explore the room itself to find out what they could. However, stray too far and one might find themselves right at the beginning, Carbuncle waiting for them.]

Hello... I've not seen anything quite like you before. [ Luna has always been fond of animals, and this is no different despite the fact she knows Carbuncle is not a normal animal. He reminds her of her dogs in a way -- and those two, Umbra and Pryna, are not normal dogs either. They're messengers. She smiles at it regardless.
As much as she wants to approach Carbuncle she doesn't, instead veering off to explore the room as much as she possibly can. It's then that she notices the other items... the more normal sized ones, at least, and she goes to investigate. She's been taught from birth to not touch things or take things that are not her own, that it's impolite. But she's absolutely drawn to the box that contains the ring. She picks the box up but does not take the ring out, not wanting to disturb something that is not meant for herself, but she does inspect it. It's a lovely piece of jewelry; she's always been very fond of crescent moons and stars, all sorts of celestial patterns really. ]

In it was the flashing of faces and a scene that unfolded:
"It's been some while. Do you remember the last time you saw Lady Lunafreya?" Ignis' deep baritone echoes in the scene as if coming from under water.
"About... twelve years ago?" Noctis answers, the sound of the car drifting across pavement accompanying the conversation.
"That would make you... eight? You were kids!" Prompto interjects, turning to face Noctis instead of focusing on the road in front of them as he sat in the drivers seat. This earned him a stiff reprimand from Ignis as he signaled him to keep his eyes on the road and both hands on the wheel.
"Hope she hasn't got her hopes up." Gladio adds, chuckling.
"Why not?" Noctis asks, rising in his seat slightly and addressing a chuckling Prompto, "Calm yourself."
Gladio, however, continues, "Try and keep it together when you meet her."
The comments only continued from the three friends of the Prince who was indignant about their japes. The exchange continued until the car began to backfire.
The memory itself played exactly like this, save for the distortions of the sound and the image becoming warped occasionally as if looking in the surface of a pool of water.

There's a small, fond smile that tugs at her lips, though. Three out of the four of the young men in that car she knows personally now because of the Fleet... and she can't help but burst out into giggles as Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto tease her poor, beloved King. And yet, there's something strange... the image is a little distorted.
...Water? That can't be good. As a matter of fact, it gives her a somewhat... eerie feeling. Swallowing, she gently places the ring back down where she found it, taking a moment to collect herself. The water was probably nothing. There are other items to inspect, after all, although she feels like she's prying a bit. There are things she knows Noctis probably doesn't want her to know, and so as she moves onto the next item, a tray of pastries, she's almost a little hesitant as she reaches out and gently touches the tray. ]

Cloud didn't sign up for this Mini spell bullshit, but it looks like he doesn't have a choice. The first giant door he tries isn't going to budge, and he's just barely too large to squeeze underneath it so he goes in search of something he can at least use as a weapon. He can see a bunch of normal-sized things over there, but before he gets too close he's distracted by-]
Wh...Carbuncle? [It looks different, but that's unmistakably a summon just chilling out here, like it's totally normal.]
oh my god i can't stop laughing sorry this is so late work has been yuck
bro don't even sweat it

What on Earth does this do?

"Prompto!!" His anguished shouts ring in his ears as Ardyn mocks him for his mistake. He had just shoved his best friend off of a moving train, after all.]
no subject
...Still, that explains a lot about why Noctis and Ardyn are so...at odds. He knows it's likely much, much deeper than that-those are some old wounds between the both of them. Yeesh. ]
...I hope he survived that.

Hi, there, little guy. Or ... girl? [He can't tell from here.]

Hey. You're awfully cute. You have a name, little guy?
[It's name will be Little Guy until proven otherwise.]

He stops when he comes to a grouping of things that look out of place. A ring, sword and shield, camera and pastries. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that these might be symbols of his prince's friends, himself included. Not if the themes of the other rooms he's managed to step into are any indication. He could point to an item and tell you exactly who belongs to which person.
His eyes land on the creature and he frowns, trying to place where he knows it from. Something from a storybook, he thinks, but he can't remember the name.] I take it that you are the guardian of this room.

That was probably a 'Yes'?]
