i know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
( for N-Z characters )
Before you post your toplevel comment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. N-Z names comment here, and A-M names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your comment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

[Dezel's totally fucking with him right now, but it's nice to be able to... do that? To tease him again. Sorey's been so, so down for so long.
Dezel doesn't go easy on him though. He grabs a whole stack of books and makes a show of walking them toward the door.]

Books, new books! Sorey didn't know how seraphim managed to find them, since Elysia is so isolated and no humans ever come up the mountain, but every once in a while when one of his family members travels down the mountain for the few necessities that can't simply be made, they'll come back with a stack of books for he and Mikleo to squeal over.
That's the case now, Sorey clutching a stack of books to his chest, little arms barely enough to even hold them all, chest still rattling with the leftover of that darn persistent cough as he scampers over to Mikleo's house and just lets himself right in.
"Mikleo!" he calls excitedly, bounding up onto his bed to wake his friend, dumping the books onto the mattress. Mikleo grumbles, ruffled hair peeking out from under the blankets before he pushes himself up and rubs at his eyes, expression annoyed until he spies the books as well.
"Wow! Where did they find so many?!"
"I don't know!"
They sit there together, Sorey coughing into his sleeves every once in a while, Mikleo absentmindedly laying a cool, damp hand on his forehead or the back of his neck as they both pour over their bounty.]
-get rid of them, Dezel, how cruel! [Oh. Sorey blinks before rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.]

I wasn't really going to throw them out, [he huffs. But after a moment, he points something out.]
You were still sick.

[There's more than a trace of fondness. Gods, he really does care about these two idiots. They're gonna be the second death of him, honestly.]
I bet he was real mad when you shot up like a weed.
[He flashes his teeth in his usual sharky grin, then goes back to poking around the room. In the end he goes for the stew because he wants to make sure it's not burning or something. He lifts the lid, intending to stir it if he can.]
