Who: Nightingale and you!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Marsiva hospitality deck
When: Now!
[action]
[Nightingale's awakening is much lower-key than most, sitting up in the bed and realizing quickly that she is not where she should be. The best way to cope, of course, is looking around, taking in her surroundings, and just talking to herself.]
Okay... So, this must be a game. Don't think I recognize any space Echoes, though... Whatever, I should figure out the win conditions, first. And hope it's not another 'everyone dies' game.
[she lifts a hand, and a strong wind whips through the area, throwing bedsheets and pillows around.]
Okay, magic's still on, that's... usually a good sign.
[She doesn't seem to have noticed the mess she made. Or maybe she doesn't care. Either way.]
[Having immediately fallen into the assumption that this is a game, Nightingale isn't too bothered by the idea of being able to operate technology she hasn't seen before- it's not like it's the first time, after all. She takes a deep breath, and starts talking to the camera. Noticeably, she still hasn't cleaned up her prior mess.]
This is Nightingale, from Takshaka. I don't know what's going on, but this game seems a bit different. Can you check in with which teams are here? And Roc, Gull, Hawk, Magpie, Togetic, Sparrow, any of you around?
And which Echo is this, while I'm at it? I don't recognize any with a space theme going on unless it's the damn Bone Witch again. If I see that dress or that whale again, I'm going to find a way to leave in the middle.

Action!
A... talking horse. Okay. Sure, not the weirdest thing I've seen. Are you the Echo here?
no subject
So long as I'm not the weirdest thing. Aaand no, I'm not the echo, or even an echo. [To himself. ] Echoechoecho. You find those in caves.
The name's Cheese Sandwich. [He gestures to the rubber chicken on his back.] This is Boneless 2. We're new here, too.
no subject
... "Cheese Sandwich". I hate to admit it, but that's still not the dumbest name I've heard, either. Which team are you, then?
no subject
It's a perfectly acceptable pony name, I'll have you know. You know what's weird to me? Human names. Like, Pam or Brian. What's up with that?
[Oh. She's asking him a question. ]
Uh...There are teams? Is this like when the castle split into two? Because that didn't go so well. I'm not great at teams.

Well, I was back home for a while, so I'm not sure what team I'm on. Is there a flyer in the lobby?
[He pauses, looking around. Nope. Space. ]
...Or where the lobby was before it turned into space.

It's pretty wacky, I know.

[she slowly just puts her face in her hands.]
Okay, I have no idea what's going on, but I'm officially not drunk enough to be having this conversation.

[He scrunches up his face, sticks his tongue out and has a look of INTENSE CONCENTRATION.
Northing's happening. At all. He's still standing there, though, giving it his all.]
no subject
No offense, but I wouldn't want to drink something intended for horses, anyway.
no subject
That's weird, the wishing thing usually works. I wonder if it got turned off...
Oh, and humans can drink it too! I tested it at my last party, they love it.
[And usually pass out very, very quickly. ]

[He taps his chin thoughtfully. ]
I'm not sure how to find out who's in charge, though.

Doooes it bother you?

Your concrit has been filed and will be up for evaluation in six-to-eight months. While you wait, would you like to listen to some soothing music?
[She's not getting a choice, he pulls an accordion out of seemingly nowhere and starts to play a happy little tune. ]
