JULY PLANET MINGLE

Who: YOU. ME. EVERYONE.
Broadcast: IF YOU WANT
Action: YEAH!!!!!

[Congratulations to the crews that did not get themselves blown up! Welcome to the Blue Planet, a planet full of charming islands and even less charming weather patterns! Are you going to take the time to enjoy the beach? Help out with the local Nunnilis population? Get caught in a storm with another person and have a rating boosting sexual tension moment? The world's your oyster!]

[Isabela did have a bikini at some point. Where is it now? Who knows. It's far too hot for clothes, and besides, it wouldn't have done for it to get wet.

...

Someone should probably explain the point of a bikini to her at some point. Not that. She probably won't just ignore it anyway.

Unlike a certain someone she isn't particularly lobster coloured, although she is perhaps a little more tanned already. Of course, Isabela's never been overly concerned for the feelings of others. Not even her friends at times. So she doesn't feel even the barest amount of guilt when she wraps her arms around Hawke and his presumably rather tender shoulders from behind.]

You know, I think I rather like this planet. It's so nice to see the sea again after all this time.

[ The noise Hawke emits at this, for another turn of rhyming, can be only characterized as a squawk. ]

Maker's bloody breath, woman.

[ What other possible reason could there be to complain about the sudden attachment of naked Isabela? None. ...possibly other people might consider this sort of murky territory, given the givens, but really. He shifts her arm to around his neck, which is probably also burnt, but it's less pain than his entire back.

Also at this point let's say he's at least sensible enough that they are in shade, because exposing already burnt flesh to the sun a second or like, eighth time, is just the worst idea anyone has ever had.
]

Thinking of hitching a ride somewhere?

[ Like literally anywhere other than space. ]

Perhaps.

[She takes pity on his poor, burned body and tilts her head up to whisper in his ear dreamily rather than rest her head on his shoulder. She keeps her arms where they are though. She's not that kind.]

I could get my own ship. Think about it, Hawke. You, me... Anders.

[Yeah, no. She's not going to get tired of teasing him over that any time soon.]

[ He will never, ever tell her that it makes him kind of warm and happy inside, because ugh, who discusses that with anyone. ]

You're right! Atroma would probably be perfectly happy to let us go. Send a bon voyage fruit basket and everything.

[No, they wouldn't. Meanwhile he resigns himself to just having his tender parts mangled, although in ...you know, a different sense than in the past. Narrative will never get tired of being an adolescent about this. ]

Just tell Anders Captain Whitefluff can steer the boat - [ he knows how much Isabela loves it when he calls ships of appropriate grandeur 'boats' ] once in a while. Maybe get her a little eyepatch, too. He'd be on board in seconds.

[Wow, that wasn't mangling. She took very good care of your tender parts, Hawke. Mostly.]

A fruit basket? Surely they could do better than that.

[Like daggers. And gold. And lots of shiny things. Or alternatively hunt them down. She could do with more excitement in her life.]

So long as the number of animals don't start overtaking the number of people. I may let her steer occasionally.

[Also a cat is better than Hawke's old mabari. Pussy jokes ahoy!]

[ Well, you know. Sometimes he likes having them mangled! Gently. His tastes are eclectic. ]

Sure, they could. The question is would they.

[ No. They would not. ]

Would you teach her to steal priceless relics, as well?

[ Literally never letting that go. Ever. How long has it been since he referenced The Qunari Incident? Too long. ]

I wouldn't advise it unless they happen to exceptionally strong swimmers. [She wouldn't really throw them overboard. Probably.

Hawke is still under consideration though. Especially if he keeps bringing that up. It's not like it was all her fault or anything.]

I don't see why not, although it would have to be something a bit more exciting than a book this time.

We don't even know what "they" are. What if they turn out to be tentacle people?

[ What, it doesn't seem all that implausible. ]

Exceptionally strong swimmers and capable of overturning your ship.

[ He only brings it up because it was a bonding moment!! That time he got impaled. ]

Isabela, if anyone could turn a cat into more of a sneaky little thief than they already are, it's you.
