[A. Beach]

[It feels like too long since he's been on a beach... The young monk wears just a pair of orange trunks, and his tattoos and scars are on full display as he plays.

Aang is zipping all over the place and having fun! He'll try to make things out of sand and even seem to move sand without touching it sometimes. And you can also find him playing around near water.]

Anyone know any fun games?!

[B. Ocean]

[Aang will also appear out in the ocean, exploring! He wants to take a closer look at the big sea creatures and see if they can be ridden. He's just swimming through the waves and using waterbending to assist his progress. Be careful, there are predators out there!]

[C. Storm]

[At either of the two locations, Aang gets serious during a storm. He'll bend the elements around him to try to deflect or reduce the water and wind around the people nearest to him, and he'll do what he can to help others to safety before himself.]

Watch out!

[D. Market]

[In the market, there's only one thing that catches his attention. The young monk stares with wide eyes at the assortment of goldfish in bowls!]

They're all so pretty!

[Aang apparently isn't the only one who had that idea, as Nightingale has a pretty good wall of wind going around herself to keep her dry. Unfortunately, this has the side-effect of scattering the rain that was going to hit her everywhere else, probably making Aang's job just a little harder than it should be.]

"Watch out"... It's not that bad.

But we should be careful... storms can always get worse! [Aang frowns as he looks towards her, noticing the odd things she's doing with the wind.]

H-hey, are you airbending too?!

"Airbending"? Is that some kind of euphemism?

[She gives him a weird look, eyebrow raised.]

If you mean the wind, it's magic.

[He squints, luckily not sure what 'euphemism' usually means.]

S-so it's magic, huh? That's pretty neat! [But not the same as airbending. It's a little sad not to find any more airbenders out there in the universe, but he still appreciates the display... even with the storm raging around them.] But you should still be careful.

[She shrugs, tightening the wall of wind around herself.]

I'm being careful, but it's not like there's anything else I can do here.

[He frowns as he looks towards her, moving his arms around to try and keep on bending these elements.]

[ He was in the marketplace with Aang, trying to do some shopping for supplies for the ship. He was looking at something else, so initially he doesn't see what Aang's talking about ]

Hm? What is it, Aang?

[Aang beams at him and motions towards the display.]

Come on, Allen, take a look at this. The fishies!

[He turns to look, half hoping it'll be food (nevermind Aang's hippie vegetarian ways)- but it surprised to see glowing fish instead]

[Did you think you were alone out here, kid? The penguin you met last week has pulled up next to him in the water, cutting through the waves gracefully as he keeps up.]

Hey, kid. Aren't you a little far out from land?

[Aang gives one of his brightest smiles as he sees the penguin swimming alongside him.]

Um... I'm fine, really! This is a normal trip for me. I gotta find some really big creatures to ride!

[ DON'T MIND KATARA, she's just going to be here, really enjoying actual sunlight and weather and planetary atmosphere. she's flopped out on a towel on the sand, apparently just relishing the weather. ]

How's the sandbending coming along? [ teasing. ]

[How can he not mind her she's right there! It's a distraction, but a welcome one. He glances towards her with a smile as he sits in the sand, making it float around his fingers.]

It's... I'm getting there! I wanna make something really pretty for you by the end of the day!

[ she leans up slightly, drowsy and comfortable and honestly probably on her way to a mild sunburn, but right now she really couldn't care less. ]

[ amused, and - honestly a little flattered. ]

You should leave the sand on the beach.

But... I wanna make something nice! [He drops the sand as he tries to make placating hand motions towards the drowsy Katara.] I know I can do it if I try!

[ she sits up completely, crossing her eyes and rolling her shoulders back in an attempt to stretch and wake herself up. ]
