Are you from old earth? Most people seem to be.

I suppose that depends on if you're from New Earth. Tell me - what wrecks the earth in the future? Global warming? Aliens? Asteroid? Solar burnout?

I like don't really know that much about old earth. People are still from there, though, it didn't blow up or anything. I don't think? Um. I didn't pay a lot of attention in school to history. Maybe. I don't really remember.

Mostly not, I guess? Like more I'm used to there being lots of different people from different places now. And living in a dome isn't that different from living on a spaceship.

But... it's also really different for no one to know how things are. Or like... any of the history, or who you are, or about ports or whatever. All that stuff. Kind of cool, kind of weird.

Um... I don't know. Let me think of the stuff that other people from Old Earth think are cool. Hover cycles? Tank cutters? Um. I'm mostly made out of synthetic parts, some people think that's kind of cool, I guess? Oh! Dermal regenerators. I think those are cool. The dome. Um.

I've got a lot of AR parts, so yeah. Think so. Left arm, right leg, right eye. And I think Whiskey said the only two original organs I've got left are my brain and my left kidney. Skeleton's nanocomposite. And I've got a lot of synth muscle fibers, since before I got mustered out I was close combat. And it helps with the skeleton.

The skeleton thing is kind of unusual, though. It was... a thing.

[ for as disinterested as he sounds, this is actually fascinating. ]

Oh. Um. I got thrown out the 99th floor window of the Bifrons tower. And like. I didn't just free fall the whole way. I managed to get my tank cutter into the wall and rode it down to like the twenty-something floor I think? Before the heat bleed made the blade snap. And then I kind of bounced off some stuff before I hit the ground, so that helped too maybe.

But yeah anyway. When I hit the sidewalk uh... well, the doctor said I basically pulped all my bone? So they regrew me new ones internally with nanocomposites.

Oh, hey! I got thrown out of a tower, once, too.

[ good times. at least he had a suit of armor to catch him. ]

Nice. I imagine regrowing bones is extremely fun. [ maybe even more fun than having an electromagnet put in your chest. ]

It sucked balls. Like nasty gross sweaty balls. I was in complete traction for over a month and the doctors put a nanny on my network access because they're humorless pricks.

And then it was all kind of a waste anyway, cause my back regrew all fucked up and I got turfed. [Shrug, like what can you do?]
