When We're Rollin Through the Wild Wild West

[How's your ship doing, pardners? Is it still pretty damaged? Is it glitching out hardcore? Well, there is one place to land to take care of all that, and that's on a dusty old moon in front of a planet that no one wants to go to. On this moon, you'll find a civilization that looks a lot like one's stepped into a wild west movie, hardened cowpolk and mutant horses and all. Will you become a vigilante, hunting bounties and stopping gangs from doing their dirty work? Will you go exploring planetside, with a cowboy hat and a stalk of wheat in your mouth to complete the look? Good luck with that; there is no wheat. This town ain't big enough for all you flooters, but make it so! For the ratings!

[princessia]

[ Elize is happily tagging along with Ino, searching for plants. She would have never left town on her own. Honestly, she was curious about the desert outside and is glad that she can be with Ino for this.

She eagerly points at a cactus with a single pink desert flower. ]

This one, Ino! This one!

[ There are other cactuses around. It's just... this one has pink. ]

[ino]

[ Ooh, she approves. She's crouching down to gently examine the flower ]

Wow, good find, Elize! It's very pretty -- and eventually it should grow some little berries, too, if what the locals say is true.

[princessia]

[ She beams happily, proud of herself. Then she crouches down next to the cactus too, tilting her head. She has seen Cassandra transplant a flower before, but not a cactus plant. ]

Are we going to remove it from the ground? It's all prickly...

[ino]

Yep! Don't worry, there's an easy way to move it without having to lift it with your hands.

[ She's getting out two small shovels from her bag ]

First we have to dig down around the bottom, though, so we don't hurt the roots of it.

[princessia]

Okay. Can I watch you dig first?

[ To make sure she does her task correctly. She holds her hands out to hold on to the other shovel. ]

[ino]

Of course!

[ Ino will take one of the shovels, using the tip to draw a circle around the plant at about the distance they should dig down at. She'll start stabbing into the part of the circle closest to her to get some leverage further down ]

I think we'll want to go down at least a foot or so deep.

[princessia]

[ Looking back and forth between the plant and the shovel, Elize studies Ino's movements. It doesn't take long for her to feel confident to start digging on her own. She copies the older girl, jabbing at the dirt on the other side of the circle. She pauses. ]

Am I doing it right?

[ino]

Yep! Just like that.

[ Once she's pushed a little further down, she'll angle the shovel a little more towards the middle, under the roots ]

And theeen -- we wanna get underneath, so it'll pop right out.

[princessia]

[ Another look back and forth between Ino and the plant, then she wiggles the shovel deeper down until it's underneath the roots as instructed. ]

...Okay. [ A smile. ] I think I got it on this side.
