When We're Rollin Through the Wild Wild West
Who: Everyone! EVERYONE!
Broadcast: IF YOU WANNA
Action: Everywhere! EVERYWHERE!
When: Mid-September - Mid-October
[How's your ship doing, pardners? Is it still pretty damaged? Is it glitching out hardcore? Well, there is one place to land to take care of all that, and that's on a dusty old moon in front of a planet that no one wants to go to. On this moon, you'll find a civilization that looks a lot like one's stepped into a wild west movie, hardened cowpolk and mutant horses and all. Will you become a vigilante, hunting bounties and stopping gangs from doing their dirty work? Will you go exploring planetside, with a cowboy hat and a stalk of wheat in your mouth to complete the look? Good luck with that; there is no wheat. This town ain't big enough for all you flooters, but make it so! For the ratings!
In other words, it's a planet mingle! Get 'er done!]

Or walking along and suddenly finding yourself crushed against the floor.
[She's got the bruises to show for it.]
Sure Vision will get us up and running again in no time. We lost an engineer after the fight. Slowed us down a little.
[It might be a surprising thing from Natasha. Any admission of weakness. But this is who she's chosen to be, for now. A captain. And captains talk about their crew, she supposes.]

Didn't make the initial response anymore valid, or the way Rogue flinched slightly when Natasha spoke of losing someone any less noticeable to a super spy.] I'm sorry ta hear that.

[Judging by the way Rogue tenses, she's already thought of someone else that's gone. They'd lost more than a few, this time around, just gone with no goodbyes, no sign they were ever here in the first place except the marks they'd left on others. And Rogue's response...well, it isn't awkward, but it's close enough. Natasha can only answer with an eloquent shrug, a roll of one shoulder and a motion of her head to the side. It happens. You accept it. You move on. What else can you do? What else can she do?]
It happens. They don't have to deal with this mess anymore, so that's something, I guess.
You lose anyone?
[These words are gentler, follow a pause. It's a personal question, sure, but the kind that Rogue can either answer or evade. A question that doesn't demand a solid answer. Or any answer at all. Only what she's willing to give.]

She nodded. This was a job she was painfully used to having. In Luceti, it felt like that was the only reason why she'd addressed the village as a whole.]
Yeah. Tony an' Zessica. [Pause a moment, so there was no room for confusion, because, after all - she knew Natasha knew Tony. Better to just be fair.] Tony Stark.
[She wondered for a moment if she should explain that she'd known Tony, that she was friends with Tony since Luceti and so any loss would be shared but her throat closed up even thinking of talking about it, so... no.]

[It's a hard question to answer, even when it's a constant in your life. Natasha is no stranger to loss, but that doesn't mean she no longer keeps track. She remembers every name. Something she thinks maybe the other woman shares, given the complicated look on her face. Out of respect for that look, she waits--nods when Rogue's done, understanding what it means. The addition of Tony's last name. She'd known another Natasha before, presumably she knows that Natasha and Tony were from the same place, if not the same time.]
I figured. He's not the type to sit this kind of place out.
[She'll remember him, too. And, maybe, if Rogue shares, she can offer something in return.]

Rogue swallows.]
He's - been an' gone in these kinda places a few times, I guess.
[She tries to smile, feeling that one is called for - but there would not be even a hint of honesty in the expression, and in the end Rogue just looks away. Why try to dress it up when it just... sucks? She exhales and then offers a quiet evidence of familiarity, but more importantly, and airing of a wound, if brief.] It was good ta see him while he was here.
