Who: ??? (but secretly abigail) (BUT WHO) & you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: P....ossibly but I'm not sure where yet!
When: 12/8, early morning
I can't find a listing of ships counselors. I know they exist, I just need a list. And I need to know which ones are actually reliable. Personal experience rather than conjecture preferred but not requisite.
[And that . . . appears to be all.]

Which is why it's stupid that there aren't any checks and balances in place as far as I can tell, or a public list of counselors even, because it's so so so easy to hurt people if you know secret painful things about them and I'm not doing that.
[Again.]

It sounds as though it is a heavy responsibility. I do not envy these people.

Plenty of people who know how to keep secrets, if that's what you're looking for.

Atroma has a tendency to appoint people with no qualifications whatsoever to the position of "counselor," is what I'm saying, actually. The few people who have had some sort of training in psychology don't exactly use it responsibly, from what I've seen.
If trust is important to you, I'd suggest trusting whatever list you find even less.

can you make it public?

What is it that you need? As broadly or specifically as you want to say.

people are are compelled to help people without any of the actual training?
sounds like someone i don't want to be stuck in a room with
why are you asking?

You can use voice if that's easier.

That being said, I'm one of the counselors. I don't exactly have any testimonials or anything, [ since she's nosy and approached the people she thought she needed help instead of the other way around ] but I did work in medicine and psychology back home.
[ That's a nice, non ninja-interrogator-sounding way to put it, Ino ... ]
I have no idea if we already know each other or not, but if you're comfortable with it I'd be happy to help.

At least it's not Atroma itself that's trying to psychoanalyze us.
I don't really think it's going to work but I'm supposed to ask for help if I need it. Not from a friend, from a professional. Which nobody here is, I guess.

[read: Stefan doesn't exactly trust the personnel on his ship - but can you blame him, when Loki is his resident counselor?]
I'm technically a medic, but I worked as an interfaith chaplain for a few years, and psychology and informal CPE kind of came with the territory. If you're comfortable with that, I could try to help.

Atroma's full of shit. Someone here is going to go off eventually. Regularly. Like clockwork. I know how it goes when you're trapped.
I'm not religious.

Back home the solution to everything was "meditate on it." It works sometimes, but... there are some problems it's not really adequate for.
That said, if you ever want to try it out, I'm happy to teach anyone who wants to learn.

What kind of meditation is it?
