The cargo holds are full of mysterious crates! The crews are filling beyond capacity with new faces! Official alerts are informing the passengers that they are signed to contracts that they've never agreed to! They are docking at the dazzling FS Starlight, but are flat broke!

[Beverly doesn't know exactly what's going on here but really, the look on Jennifer's face is all she needs to get involved. Casually looping one arm around Jennifer's, she glares at these suspicious characters.

No one harasses space girlfriend and gets away with it!]

Excuse me, I believe she said she wasn't interested. You can leave now.

[Said shady characters looked like they were going to speak up again, but one nudged the other and whispered something, and they both walked off, disappointed.

Jennifer turned to Beverly and smiled briefly, but it soon turned into a scowl.]

My hero. ... They wanted me to help transport organs.

[dancingmd]

Organs?

[She looks after the retreating men with half a mind to go after them.]

I'm going to assume you mean of the black market variety. We ought to report them if that's the case.

Yeah, that's exactly it. Apparently some doctors are willing to do that... [The disgust in her voice is evident.] I think that's a good idea. I mean, they told me it was all legal, but I somehow doubt that.

Legal transportation of organs usually doesn't involve secret trades in a park, in my experience.

Pretty much. And if someone needed my skills, they could have grabbed me from one of the clerical jobs I've been working.

Exactly.

[She frowns, thoughtful.]

I haven't had anyone approach me with such an offer. I wonder if Simon has... either way, we should find some proper authorities around here.

Yeah... we should. I'd hope if he has, he'd do the same thing... from the few times we talked, I think he'd feel the same way I do.

[dancingmd]

Mmm.

[Honestly, it's hard to say with Simon. They've been here together for almost a year now and she still doesn't know that much about him, though certainly not from a lack of trying.]

Do you know where the nearest police station is?

You know, I haven't seen anything like that- then again, I haven't been looking. With the number of people circulating through this station, I wonder how the police keep on top of anything here.

Perhaps we'll find some on the main promenade? Surely there are security offices there.

[Jennifer nodded, looking around as they reached it.]

So, how have you and your crew been holding up with the frozen bank account?

There was...some concern when we first discovered the problem ["Some concern" here meaning "Allen screaming"] but everyone is pitching in by working on the station and we have plenty of crops from the garden and Sokka did a lot of hunting on the last planet, so we're good on the food front. What about the Wonderduck? I know Daneel is doing some bartending at least.

We're getting by, yeah- I've been taking some clerical work here and there, and the others are trying their best, I hope. Though Jade's pet fox has been ripping our furniture up.

[dancingmd]

Oh dear... she's probably feeling a little cooped up.

[forsometimenow]

Most likely, since the foxes are used to roaming. Hopefully once the little gal gets to run around some, she'll grow out of a need to chew. If not, we can find some dog toys or something else for her to gnaw on.

That would be a good idea. Or maybe you could have something like playdates? A lot of people got foxes, and maybe it'd help their energy levels if they got some play time with each other.

That's not a bad idea, either- we could make a little area for them on the Iskaulit. Like a dog park, except a fox park.
