This place is pretty crazy, maybe they sell some kind of video games?

Not that I've seen. And I've actually been poking around the shops for a bit.

I usually go around the planets or space stations we visit trying to scrounge up photography equipment. It's ten times harder to find analog camera stuff when you're in science fiction.

Ooh, yeah. Might have to step up to the 20th century, Max.

[Oh wait, that was right...]

We seriously get to go to other planets?

Oh, yeah! And in classic sci-fi vein, you get Snow Planet, Desert Planet... that sort of thing.

[ Okay, but for real, it is exciting, so- ] I've got all sorts of pictures back on the Paisley, if you want to check them out later.

This is so cool. [Another bounce in her step, and then she grins.]

As if I'd ever pass up a chance to see the famous Max Caulfield Photography Collection. [She somehow manages to make those capital letters audible.]

Plus I have to check out these people you're living with, decide if they're cool enough for you.

You don't have to worry, they're all pretty cool.

Well, most of them. The ones that aren't are still nice to have around though.

Cool people and useful people. Jeez Max, you almost sound pragmatic. Where's my favorite idealist, huh?

[Someone is suddenly getting a one-armed shoulder hug.]

[ Max kinda shrugs. ] Just walking now. I haven't explored much past here.

I know there's some administration.. government-y stuff off that way [ motions vaguely in a direction they're not walking ] but that doesn't sound too interesting, does it?

That sounds about as fun as plain white bread, Max.

[She stops, twisting around to peer back the way they came.]
