Gumball Wishes and Taxicab Dreams

[On today's episode of the Drift Fleet:

The cargo holds are full of mysterious crates! The crews are filling beyond capacity with new faces! Official alerts are informing the passengers that they are signed to contracts that they've never agreed to! They are docking at the dazzling FS Starlight, but are flat broke!

What are they going to do!? Stay tuned to find out!

...Meaning, this is a kickoff mingle for you all to enjoy the beginning of the latest plot setting. This is a convenient place to start threads relating to the first week of the event-- meeting new crewmembers, reacting to the mysterious cargo, arriving on the station and discovering that you're all broke, etc.

Tag around, start whatever you'd like, have fun. And, as always, feel free to make your own posts and mingles from here on in, as this will be the only mod-posted one for this event!]

[So this guy probably wasn't with the fleet. Which made sense. Far as he could tell, the majority of the people on the station were nothing to do with his reality-freak-show party.]

I think I slept through the trip. Why, you know how to get to Earth from here?

If I knew, I'd definitely have already ritual'ed myself back there, honestly.

[Even if home sucks ass.

Also, he's now thinking - maybe a fleet guy?]

What's your Earth like, then? I'm noticing most of them are... pretty different.

I have no idea how to answer that.

[Seriously. If the one difference between their two Earths was that dogs had five feet in this guy's world, it would take them a long long time to figure it out.]

The sky is blue, most of the time. Dogs have four legs -- most of the time. America won the cold war, pepperoni is the most popular kind of pizza.

[He was drinking whatever this stuff was straight from the bottle, which might have been a bad idea. But he'd let future-Hawkeye worry about that.]

[He huffs a laugh. This guy must not have the same issues as him.]

Does your world have ghosts, vampires, demons, angels?

Though I guess you still could and just not know about all of that.

I guess?

I mean, Between the mutants, the inhumans, the Gods and the aliens, there's gotta be.

[Was this ...classified? Or something?

Nah.]

... Well, our worlds sound similar, at least.

What kind of Gods do you deal with?

[Chances are, Sam's faced 'em, homeboy.]

[Prepare for a list, because he's ticking them off his fingers as he goes.]

You got one God of thunder -- he's a good guy -- and a God of mischief, who probably isn't. Then you've got your gigantic world-eating space-people, and your guys who like to think they're Gods. Except they aren't. So you could say we deal with all kinds.
