The cargo holds are full of mysterious crates! The crews are filling beyond capacity with new faces! Official alerts are informing the passengers that they are signed to contracts that they've never agreed to! They are docking at the dazzling FS Starlight, but are flat broke!
What are they going to do!? Stay tuned to find out!
...Meaning, this is a kickoff mingle for you all to enjoy the beginning of the latest plot setting. This is a convenient place to start threads relating to the first week of the event-- meeting new crewmembers, reacting to the mysterious cargo, arriving on the station and discovering that you're all broke, etc.

Well, I don't think a giant eyeball planet would like anyone to step on its surfaces either! But there are plenty of "gross" planets out there. We're bound to orbit one someday.
You mean besides giant eyeball planets? [ He chuckles. No, he's not letting that go yet. He rubs his chin. ] Stories, rumours that might or might not be true, the price of things, directions. Anything, and there's a chance it's a lie.

...Oh, I guess that's true. That's really not so different at home, either, people would say something is a bargain when it's really not, or try to pass off something old as something new. I guess here it's just...different-looking, and shinier, but about the same deep down.

Mm, if I tried to talk about the whole planet we'd be here all day! And I haven't seen a whole lot of it, either — really, all I've seen is the city where I live, that must seem really strange! But Venezia is a city where we have as many canals as we do roads, so people can get around by gondola! I think that's one of the things that make us special, most cities aren't like that at all. Um, let's see...well, my father was a glass merchant! He had a storefront and that's where we lived, too, when I was growing up. My parents, my three sisters, and me.
