The cargo holds are full of mysterious crates! The crews are filling beyond capacity with new faces! Official alerts are informing the passengers that they are signed to contracts that they've never agreed to! They are docking at the dazzling FS Starlight, but are flat broke!

That has her thinking back, though, and she puts down her menu to stare at her right hand, flexing her fingers lightly. World Shaking had worked. So had her sword.

Where to even begin with that, though? But perhaps that should wait until this robot asks them what they want to drink... ] Ah--

and thus fulfilling the dreams of the rhyhorn line everywhere...

[another robot. Michiru blinks, offers it a smile anyway, and points to a line on the menu.]

This one, please.

[whatever it is, it's hot, comes in a fancy cup, and is probably delicious.]

This for me. [ Haruka is trying a different one. It looks like it might be stronger (if nonalcoholic), and after the day they've just had, she's in the mood for that.

She exhales once the robot's gone. ] What next?

[more testing is on the horizon. Technically, they worked the first time on the Marsiva, even if no damage was done.]

[ You fared better the first time around. She lacked a sword. ] Mmn.

[ A nod. ] It feels like they're changing the rules on us lately.

[ The ships have been docked for a long time, they're "at capacity", Atroma seems fallible...and then their powers worked completely normally. So testing it is. ]

Perhaps it's more difficult to handle this many people.

[if we're going to look for associations, that's certainly something's that changed. Is that too optimistic though?]

[ Or they can't actually control who arrives and when. But that doesn't add up. ]

[more people than usual have been disappearing too. Unless it's some delayed effect of the calibration. Which would also mean the calibration didn't do very much, did it?

Either way, here are their orders! As promised, here are their fancy drinks, even if the cups are made out of metal rather than ceramic.]

[ Fancy drink in a fancy café. Haruka feels more at home already.

She turns her cup around on the table, waiting for the drink to cool. ] Let's limit our investigation to the Fleet itself, then.

[ They might not get another chance like this. Everything so conveniently docked.... ]

[she just responds with smile as she lifts up her cup to take a sip.

At least they've got a plan. That makes things easier.]

She likes it. But she's having to take little sips. ]
