[When the credits froze Vash was alright. He had some funds he couldn't get to because of it, but he had also had plenty of money squirreled away. The idea of 'invisible' money always seemed a bit odd to him anyway.

But what he did know is that some may not have done the same thing. While there was still plenty of food it would be what was on the ship and that stuff got bland fast. Besides, the ships were a bit crowded anyway.

Which is why he was turning on the video feature now. He clears his throat and puts on his most "charming" smile.]

Lovelies of the Fleet! It is simply terrible that our money has been taken from us through no fault of our own! Leaving us stuck with the terrible slop they call food on these ships!

But worry not! Your hero Vash has saved some away and is of course always willing to share with you lovelies! Looking for something a bit more tasty tonight. I, your lovely, handsome, and gracious host; Vash the St-[No, wait. Trying to NOT to be seen as criminal now.] Stupendous would be happy to take you on a lovely date tonight!

Simply meet me at the The Solar Garden! I'll be sure to reserve a nice table in the back for two or more~~~

All I ask in return is a bit of conversation and your company. Although fair warning; you'll likely want to thank me in other ways. Like an offering of dessert after dinner which I will be more than happy to accept!

[And there he'll end it and be waiting at The Solar Garden. A restaurant he has heard is a popular place for date night in this part of space.

This is obviously the perfect plan for a date. Totally no way this could go wrong and guys would show up, right? Or kids. Or people who know exactly what Vash is actually trying to do and will just troll the heck out of him, right?]

[Bigby actually smiles. It has too many teeth and too much schadenfreude to be a good sight.]

I'm fucking with you. I don't expect feeding. I'm a jerk and asshole, but I try to keep the pure dickishness down.

[Usually someone saying that would have set Vash on edge and his skin crawl, but here it didn't matter. He had learned not being human didn't really matter here. So he just assumed that Bigby was talking about himself.]

Oh? And what kind of wrong species should I have been then?

[Bigby is about to say human, but then he sniffs. Sniffs again. Takes a long, slow inhale and lets it out between his lips.

Then pulls out a pack of cigarettes.]

Mine. Smoke?

[Vash wrinkles his nose and shakes his head.] No thanks, those things will kill you after all.

[Bigby chuckles and lights up.]

If they haven't done it in the last three hundred years, doubt they're going to now.

[He's getting used to this whole 'don't have to hide' bullshit. Though it's easier with those he can smell aren't human.]

Three hundred, huh? [Vash should probably be more surprised by those numbers.] I dunno, I still think you'd be better off without them.

[Bigby shrugs. He started smoking back when pipes were more the thing and he found it helped to burn out the stench of the city of New Amsterdam.]

Not like I'm going to die from them.

Might breath a little easier.

[For some unknown reason, this actually drives Bigby to laugh. Honest to god laughter.]

That is not a problem.

[Bigby takes a deep drag, holding it in.

Huh, have to say that's pretty impressive! I'm not sure I meant someone who didn't need to breath before.

What about a stomach? Do you actually need to eat?

[He exhales the smoke in a few rings, for shits and giggles.]

Yeah. I need food. I can go a while without, but I do need food.

[A 'while'. He could do a few months if he needed to.]

Alright then. [Vash jabs his thumb towards the door.] Then I'll meet you inside for some chow. Unless you'd like to try out a place a little less classy.

Oh no, you offered this joint, we're eating here.

[And he wanders in, looking for a table.]

Alright then. This place it is. Just wasn't sure if it was too fancy for your taste now.

Nope. I can make myself at home anywhere.

[He doesn't get uncomfortable. Everyone around him, though...]

[Vash shrugs and sits down at an empty table. Almost like it was reserved for him.] A free meal as promised. Although I will ask that you don't completely eat me out of all my cash. Just in case any chicks do decide to show up.

I'll be gracious. If any girl is enough of a sucker to turn up for a date, I'll clear off and leave you to it.

Really? And here I thought you might stick around and pick at your teeth or something.

[Vash holds his hands up in mock surrender and shakes his head.] No thanks. I'm going to have a difficult enough time as it is getting them to stay past the food I think.

[Bigby takes a slow drag and exhales. Away from Vash, he's not that uncouth.]

Thought not. Let's eat.

Finish that first. I'll meet you in there. [Vash heads in and will be waiting for Bigby at the table.]

[Bigby huffs but finishes up his smoke before he heads in.

He comes and its himself down, relaxed and yet not actually inappropriately sprawled.]
