[Dorian spends a fair deal of time poking around the ship before deciding to try out sending a broadcast. He's not entirely certain how he knows how to use the device, only that he does, and that almost unnerves him.

Still, his voice is pleasant, almost chipper.]

Well, if this isn't a curious little jaunt that I didn't exactly expect to take this afternoon. I do hope someone might be able to enlighten me as to where, exactly, I am...and when, for that matter. ...and where one might find passable reading material would also be appreciated.

[ There is of course the broadcast to be seen and heard on the various monitors inside the Marsiva, but where's the fun in sticking to that when it's much easier to just seek out Dorian himself. There's a bit of navigating hallways since he'd been wandering some, but all he has to do is listen for the sound of...well, anything really, and it leads him back to a room very similar to the one he awoke in.

Clay hovers in the doorway rather than enter right away, brows quirked with interest. ]

And here I thought I was alone.

[Dorian turns, nodding, and offered a small smile. Anything to keep up appearances as the unflappable Tevinter Magister, nevermind that sinking feeling in his gut that something was terribly wrong.

No, this was a mystery, one he could put his mind to in an effort to distract himself.]

And I was under the same impression. Dorain Pavus, and who might you be?

[magiktouch]

Clay. Nice to meet you mister Dorian. [ It seems like he ought to address him with mister; there's some sort of official feel to him. ] Did you wake here only recently? I didn't notice anyone earlier.

[serpentis]

Please, no need to call me mister.

[He smiled a bit, pleasantly, shoving aside his confusion for the moment.]

It would seem I've just arrived. You're just in time to be the first person to greet me in the flesh. I do hope you appreciate the dubious honor.

[magiktouch]

Is it one? An honour, I mean. [ he doesn't ask to be insulting; he's genuinely curious and only vaguely concerned with social statuses and the like, but he knows apparently they're a Big Deal in some places. ]

[serpentis]

I would think so. To see me over a...video screen? [How did he know what to call it?] ...is one thing, but in the flesh is entirely another.

[magiktouch]

Ah. Yes, I very much prefer meetings in-person... I get a much better feel for them this way. [ In Dorian's case, a much better "feel" means being privy to sensing all that magic inside of him. That's interesting. ]

[serpentis]

Oh? And what sort of...feeling are you looking to get, exactly?

[He steps back to the bed, sitting down and looking up at him.]

[ Well he had thought about getting a better sense of the strange, unfamiliar air of magic about Dorian...but his posturing has the Golem canting his head very faintly, lips quirked. ]

"Hands-on"...right? [ That's the proper way to use that phrase? He might be teasing a little. Mina hadn't much enjoyed it when he'd tried with her; maybe this would go better. ]

Curious, and forward, but curious all the same. I'll consider it and let you know what I think.

[He smiled a bit, inclining his head.]

If you'd prefer something more blunt, I could tell you that from here, you "feel" quite interesting. I haven't come across anything like it before; I'm very curious.

[Dorian tilted his head a bit, looking him over.]

And what are you, then?

[magiktouch]

Rather charming, I think. [ But he knows that isn't what Dorian means. ]

Most don't wander about telling people they "feel" interesting. I wonder what you mean by that.

[magiktouch]

Simply put, you have magic inside you. Am I correct? [ He's pretty sure he's right. His senses are never wrong about this sort of thing. ]

You are, now how can you tell so easily?

[magiktouch]

I'm good at that sort of thing--magic, I mean. You could say I have a nose for it. [ Technically speaking though that nose is just a projection. ]
