But it probably has something to do with tiny gestures like that which leave Sascha surprised but incredibly happy, stomach filled with nothing but elated butterflies as she leaves. When he lies down proper he curls up into a happy little ball, rolls over once or twice...and then settles, grateful once again for the world and circumstances that made Kitty, someone who doesn't mind what he is and even goes so far as to worry over him.

He's dozing by the time she gets back despite his claims of being fine, arms curled towards his chest. ]

[She steps in fully and gently sets the gas mask on the dresser as she looks over at him. She wonders again if she should just take him to a doctor or healer.]

[ His colour's better for what it normally is, but his breathing is a little shallower. Maybe not enough to cause a great deal of alarm though, since after a moment he takes a deeper inhale and his lips slowly curve into a sleepy smile. ]

Hey. Mission successful. I grabbed a discount rack mask, but it seems to work fine. [She shifts closer to touch his forehead because in the moment she's not thinking that she has no idea how his vampire physiology works. She's just trying to check for fever.]
