Who: Nami and anyone
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Bloodsport
When: 16th April
[The broadcast doesn't switch on while Nami is still sleeping, but it does decide to catch the moment when she practically launches off the bed with a banshee screech and then tumbles to the floor blankets and all, a tangle of material and bare limbs flailing in a pathetic heap.]
Luffy, you ass-- I'm the only one who can--
[The only one who can inhale a blanket corner, apparently. 8| Please hold, spluttering. She eventually flips the blanket back to show a mess of orange hair, smoothing it dazedly behind one ear-- and then freezing as she swipes at thin air beneath that.]
Wha hap'-- where's my--
[....]
.....huh?
[Memory might be taking a bit.]
---------
[Some hours later she'll be back and fully coherent and annoyed.]
I go to sleep for two weeks and we're still in this crappy place? Tell me there's a bright side somewhere. And I guess I owe a bunch of shifts at the bar or something.
Aha. Tell me I still have a job.

video.
[Yup.]
video.
[NAMI THAT'S RUDE AND YOU KNOW IT]
video.
Well. I could give you the longer version. And I could use a drink. You busy?
video.
Besides, I've got, um, to catch you up. On something. Usual bar?
video.
Yeah. Space Bar.
Please tell me your life didn't somehow get worse while I was sleeping.
video. 1/2
video.
... I'll be there.
[3:D]
video.
Thirty minutes.
[She totally doesn't say that like she's your mother about to lecture you for stealing her cigarettes or something. Nope.
See you there, Sam. >:| She'll even get the first drinks ready on the table here.]
action.
... And then he slides into his seat with a charming little grin, like everything is totally fine. Because that's how Sam Winchester's rolling with this mess today. :D]
Hey there. Nice nap?
action.
... stop being a charming little shit about it, Sam Winchester.]
Nicer than some, I'd imagine. [She certainly didn't wake up just as the devil was about to explode her soul or something.] That first step after you come back is kind of a big one.
How've you been, Sam?
action.
You first?
You're the one who went somewhere, aren't you?
action.
action.
[Be cool Sam, just drink ur drink.]
action. 1/2
action.
What's wrong with him.
action.
[AWKWARD TRIPPING OVER WORDS, COOL.]
He's from Cas' world. The one that's still here, I mean. Stoner Cas.
From... that world.
action.
Oh okay, so there's that whole timeline split. Nami winces. Awkward. But it isn't for a few seconds until she remembers just precisely what's different about that other world that she blinks, pulling back from the table with her expression kind of just... darkening.
Yeah. Great.]
He hasn't tried to shoot you, has he.
[Look at that Sam, you went first anyway :')]
action.
No, no, it's - no, it's nothing like that.
I mean, he doesn't like me. At all. But he knows I'm not Lucifer now.
action.
[She bristles a little at the idea of Dean not liking his own brother but let's be real here-- Sam's long gone in the guy's universe. Whatever the reason it happened, there's a lot of justification for bitterness right there.
She tosses her drink back.] So basically you're dealing with a sort-of brother that's more of a dick than usual.
Must be fun.
action.
That's good, right?]
He's way worse as a demon, so I think I can deal.
[... Did he ever tell you Dean was a demon at one point?
Christ, he can't remember. He has terrible priorities.]
action.
You guys on speaking terms or is it kind of "you stay in your corner of the fleet and I'll stay in mine?"
action.
He hung up on me, so. Yeah, pretty much.
[3:^D;;;]
action.
[She'd like to be irritated at Dean, but tbh she can understand. It's just hard for everyone. If Dean is just set on avoiding Sam, then there's not much she can say to protest that.]
...difficult. I guess it's not the worst that can happen, but it sucks anyway. Sorry, Sam.
action.
But, you know. Him and his self-worth and self-dislike. Makes it easy not to regardless.]
It's fine. I've dealt with worse, right?
Besides... this could be good. For Cas and Dean. This place, it could be a better life, while they're able to have it.
action.
--no. She leaves off the other thought she had. It's grounded in too much wishful thinking.]
Cas took to this place really well. How's Dean taking it? [She'd have said Cas was the more uptight one based on what she knows of Sam's Cas, but Dean has his own brand of intensity and this one's brother is the literal devil.]
