[ The video flickers on to Leto sitting on his bed, kicking his legs briefly. He grins when the video starts recording, pushing himself onto his feet. He tilts his head, that odd bird-like movement he often exhibits. ]

I have heard some interesting things of late, so I thought I'd put the question to you all. When you fall in love, can you only love one person? Can you fall in love with multiple people? Is love something you find yourself stopping after just one?

Uh huh. Are you coming over or what? [Leto, pls.]

I'll be right over.

[There's a faint smile.] I'm on the Windrose. [She'll go wait in the cargo bay for him.]

[ He waves it off. He knows where she would be. And in a couple of minutes, he arrives at the cargo bay. His footfalls are soft. Leto never bothers with shoes, something people notice about him almost immediately. ]

[It's a semi-crowded cargo hold with lots of stored chemicals and the floating garden of Vision's complete with a kelp tank and glowing fish. They also recently managed to get some exercise equipment. Exciting times on the Windrose.

She hadn't noticed his feet on the moon or thought twice about lack of shoes when they were on his own ship. Here, it's kind of a surprise.] Did you rush over so fast you didn't finish dressing? [Also, a nice way to avoid the part where this was sweet of him and she's a little awkward about that.]

I don't like shoes.

[ He says by way of explanation. After a deliberate pause, he continues. ]

I don't like clothes either, but the temperature controlled ships make it difficult to shed them.

You might get some looks if you went for the lack of clothes thing. I wonder how Charles would feel about that. [She might have freaked out a little if her double had gone nudist on her.]

I get plenty of looks as it is.

[ Clothes itch against his skin, which is why he's lost his taste for them. It's a small bonus when it unnerves others. ]

Okay, no need to brag about being handsome. [She's pretty sure that's not what he's doing, but it's not untrue from her way of thinking.] Piloting doesn't really come with any special rooms just for me unless you count the bridge. Or there's my bedroom. [Not sure how to receive guests sometimes.]

[ He looks at her, observing. ]

Does it matter?

Do you ever help a girl out or just pose philosophical quandaries where a practical answer would work better? [Is this how we talk to people who make a special trip just to see us?]

I tend to do both at the same time.

Why not the kitchen? It tends to be homely and I can make us some tea.

Well, fine, if you're going to be all cute about it. [Sounding slightly pouty, she heads for the door, giving him a little nod to follow.]

[ He smiles faintly, following. ]

[Once in the kitchen she scoots herself up onto the counter because why sit on a chair or something like a normal person?] So...hi. [She doesn't know what to do with him coming over here to talk now that she has him.]

There's tea stuff in this one. [She reaches over and taps a cabinet.]

[ He hums lightly, pulling it out and getting ready. All of this is automatic for him. He used to do this with Kanda and the routine settles him. ]

Is it so surprising that someone would come to check up on you?

I guess I haven't been feeling like the kind of friend people people would be motivated to check up on lately.

...Just some old stuff coming back around again.

You've always been a good friend.

[ And he says it like a fact. ] But being a good friend shouldn't always be your priority.

[She looks over at him, wondering how much of that is what he sees with his powers and how much is just what he sees of her now, but she doesn't ask. It's nice to hear either way, but hard to accept under the circumstances.] Yeah, well, for awhile it really wasn't my priority and that's what caught up to me again.

Things tend to.

[ He listens to the kettle whistle. ]

But that doesn't mean it should be held against you.

You don't even know what I did.

...Or maybe you do know what I did.

[ He lets that lie. ]

Enlighten me then. What did you do?

I slept with my best friend's enemy...for months. He was pretty forgiving or at least nonjudgmental about it at the time, and I made up reasons for why it was okay. But it wasn't.

There's a version of my friend here. Allen. ...I told him. He said all the things I knew he had a right to say, but never had.

But you told him and you stepped forward. It was not okay, but you acknowledged it and confessed to it.

The past is a part of you, but it doesn't fully define you.

[She nods, knowing that all of that is true even if she wasn't ready to put it so succinctly.] I want to make it right with Allen. Even if he's not really the one I would have hurt. [She got plenty hurt in the process herself.] Not that I have any idea how to do that.
