[Her voice is low and gentle. She can understand that feeling. Who can't? Even before her powers kicked in she was always the smartest kid in the room. That doesn't make people like you. It makes people avoid you at best.] Everyone's different, Sascha. It doesn't mean you won't find your place and your people to fit in with and feel at home with.

[ She's at least got others like her though; other mutants, other humans... Sascha's a pariah even among what he considers to be his own kind. ]

[She does. She can't know what exactly Sascha is going through. Just some of the same notes when you boil it down to feelings like loneliness and feeling "other."]

Don't you feel some of that with me and Bigby now? [Maybe not.]

You and... [ Sascha lifts his head to look up at her in surprise, because as obvious as it sounds he hadn't even thought of it. Bigby and Kitty don't really care who or what he is, they still spend time with him. In different ways granted, but they're still there for him when he comes back at the end of the day. Night. Whichever. ]

Ohhh...right, I guess I forgot that part--vampires don't actually like the name "vampires," haha... They call themselves Carmilla! I mean we? Or well. I don't call us that because it sounds kinda silly to me. [ He shrugs with a sheepish sort of smile. ]

They get made whenever I use the "v word."

Yup! Only humans though~ It's something they came up with after the Carmilla had their name for themselves figures out already apparently. But I learned vampire first so it kinda stuck...

[ And it's yet another reason he isn't usually popular with his own kind. ]

Groups should be able to determine their own name. And you're part of that group so... [But she can see why they would have had a problem with him. She wouldn't like it if another mutant was calling them mutie freaks all the time.]

It's...kinda a super-human thing to do? So when one of us says it it's kinda weird.
