Technically, it's a historical costume, but there was a pretty big revival of it a little more than ten years ago. It's from the Han era, and it stopped being worn before that in... [He pauses to think, not bothered by her inspection at all - it's very carefully done, all hand-sewn (he really needs to get a sewing machine made, oops).] I guess it was the early 1600s? And I came from about 400 years after that.

Where I come from, anything before the last 200 or so years is a total blank. [ Well, sort of. Sasuke had given her a history lesson, but it definitely wasn't something they were teaching in school. ]
