[He'd stopped at the refreshment table to grab a drink, which he's nursing when Katara approaches. How he doesn't smear his lipstick is quite possibly sheer makeup magic, but whatever.

Her words draw a smile on his face, and he tilts his head forward in a thankful bow.]

I'm glad you like it. It was a lot of work, but I kind of missed that. [Tilting his head up to look more directly at her, he notes that (as if there weren't a million that it's true for) he hasn't met her before. At least, to his recollection. His smile blossoms a little more, professionally bright though it may be.] Ah, I don't think we've met. I'm Qing-Yuan.
