[Smiling as he led her onto the dance floor, finding a good spot for them Remy gave her hand a little tug to pull her into him but also moving his hand to help direct her into a spin in doing so. Once she was close to him, Remy shifted his hold on her hand just enough to be more suited for their new position, his other hand going to rest lightly on her waist.] Glad ya spotted me, I really 'njoyed our last dance together, would had been a shame to miss out this time.

[Oh! She's surprised by the spin, but she follows his lead easily enough, though she can't help but blush a little. He's real smooth, this one, and she's not used to it.

Not that she's complaining.]

Me either. Though - [She looks around at the crowd with some apprehension.] - This is real fancy dancin'. Not like at the club.

[Better to keep that to yourself Misty, can't be feeding his ego too much, it's big enough as it is. Wishing suddenly he didn't have this mask on so he could give her a reassuring smile, Remy instead settled for a soft sigh.] Ah cherie, don't let these folks stop ya from 'njoyin' yaself, that all that really be 'mportant here.

I think it'd be right damn impossible not to have fun with you around!

Now that, [Pulling them into a tight spin, Remy adjusted his balance and hands on her so he could lower her into a low dip, holding her there,] Has gotta be one of the best compliments I have heard in a long time. [Before straightening up again and kept moving along with the music and the pace of dancing.]

[Remy, you charmer, now she's blushing real hard and she clings tightly to him as he dips her. No one's ever done something even half so romantic for her before so it's a little scary, but it's exciting too. When they come back up, she's somewhat breathless.]

Now where'd you learn moves like that?

[Yep, she definitely has a crush on you, if she didn't already.]

Here 'nd there, ya know how it goes. [Yep, his ego may be clicking in now that Remy had gotten that kind of reaction from her. He really couldn't help it, he loved to have an audience to show off to and it could get a little out of hand without people around to beat it out of him.

Yet he may be a little sad to know Misty was thinking like that, her crushing on him. Despite his flirty nature and need to charm he was raised right, to respect a woman and never play with her emotions. Lust was one thing, but anything else was out of the question for him. Remy didn't do relationships. The chance she might start to think of anything along those lines hadn't entered his mind, he just enjoyed his time with her greatly. She was so easy to get along with, with their shared history in the city he loved, Misty's own enjoyment of dancing and partying which matched his own. She was quality people and Remy was glad she had made that announcement about Mardi Gras.]

[Fortunately, it hasn't blossomed into more than anything but an innocent crush. Just having friends is such a novelty to her that romance seems... a crazy notion. If he doesn't pull any moves on her, she's highly unlikely to initiate anything on her own. For a while anyway.]

You oughta teach dance classes or something!

Well if I did that then how am I suppose to show off them at special occasions if everyone knows my moves? [Remy grinned and chuckled as he spoke, still moving them around the dance floor but holding off on any more flashy moves for just yet, bar maybe the occasional slow spin for her before bring her back to him and continuing to dance.]

I guess you wouldn't have to teach everything. Keep a few things to yourself, just in case.

Hmm, might not be a bad idea ya know, only so much can do when we stuck on those ships. Though might have to clear out a room or two to do so, no good bumpin' 'round in a storage area or rec room. Or at one of the bars, make it into a club night or something like we had on the station.

That'd be so cool! I mean, look how many people showed up to this - we can't be the only ones who'd like a place like that on the Iskaulit.

Should see if we can talk one of the places 'nto it. Some drinks, some suitable lightin', music with a decent beat, could even make it a weekly thing. Drinks, dance, 'nd celebration. What could be better, non?

Oh that'd be real fun! And a good way for people to meet, if they're feeling too cramped up on their own ships - 'specially when we're out in the middle of nowhere in space.

Which bar do you think? I like Varric's best, but I don't know him or anything. You think he'd be up for it?

Sure he would since would bring in business, though I gotta say I do like the slickness of the Málum, [Referring to Crowley's bar.] Could split it, one time at one place, one at the other, different feel to both. More casual time at Varric's 'nd a bit more dressed up at the other.

've chatted to both in the past, but that was back when I first got here. Can't see they be against it though.

Oh yeah, that's true, Malum would be better for fancy stuff. Then people could wear their clothes from this shindig again. Ain't like I got much other use for this dress, even though I like it a lot.

Short of us findin' 'nother planet to go dancin' on like this, though donno if that be considered a bad thing to wear the same item twice in a row. Would hate to upset our audience now, would we? [It was said with a grin from behind his mask, eyes narrowing slightly in humor as they continued to glow through the holes of the mask.]

If they cared about our clothes, I'd think they'd quit givin' us those ugly-ass jumpsuits to wear.

Ain't really the best of fashion statements, are they? [Coming from a guy who was more than a little vain, but also comfortable enough in his appearance and body that he thought he could pull most outfits off.] Why I be real happy at that station we had stopped at, that place was great for pickin' up a whole bunch of items I needed.

Plus gotta meet up with ya there, couldn't had been a better stop, non? [As he heard the music slow, picking up the signs it was coming to a stop, Remy shifted his pose enough to spin Misty one last time before taking a step back to bow and 'kiss' the back of her knuckles through his mask.] Thank ya for the dance, chere.

[Gosh. She blushes.]

Ya 'njoy the rest of ya night. [Before a slight wave of his hand to her in parting as Remy vanished back into the crowd of bodies to find himself another dance partner.]
