[Kitty wasn't even planning to stay in the game room more than a second. Just something off putting about not checking out the whole place while she's here. She pauses in her quick in and out when she notices a few impressive successive throws from the woman in black. She doesn't realize it's Sara just yet since they only spoke once over video, the mask, and she's facing the dart board.]

Not bad. [Better than not bad.]

Thanks, [she says, turning around with a faint half-smile.] Want to give them a try?

I can give it a shot. [And recognition sets in.] Been awhile since we talked. Settle in okay? [Stepping closer for the darts.]

[she shrugs, opening her hand so they can roll into kitty's.]

Well enough. Turns out space travel isn't so hard to get used to. You?

[apparently, people really can get used to pretty much anything.]

I know people. I've got a routine. [She's even got a boyfriend, but she hasn't learned to call him that 100% of the time yet, so she goes with...] There's a guy. Dances are a good distraction for me, but none of it is like having some kind of mission.

[She holds the dart, adjusting it in her hands as if taught once upon a time and recalling the lesson and releases. It's not a bad shot. Not in the bullseye, but just outside it. Helps that she hasn't had anything but the punch tonight.]

[sara can relate. her life with the league is structured, organized. train, go on missions, carry out hits, jobs. report back. the time she spent away in starling was strange, shapeless. aimless. her life hasn't been normal in so long that a normal life just feels bizarre.]

Sounds to me like you've been settling in pretty well, all things considered. Some people would say having a routine is half the battle.

Thanks. [She fires the other two off getting one in the bullseye. The other strays a bit further away than the first shot.]

I guess so. Stalk the network, train on the Iskaulit, pretend the food is food, get a new book and read it, train on ship's systems with Vision, sleep, rinse and repeat. [Maybe make out with Winn in there somewhere. She also has working on a project to create a version of the sun to charge Kara up, but since that's a secret...]

Protecting people and getting out was my goal in the last place like this, but it doesn't seem like anyone really needs protection and getting out is...lofty. [They never came close.]

It's noble, wanting to protect people. Whether or not they need it.

[what sara does isn't, as far as she's concerned, the same thing. like she told cisco: hurting bad people and protecting the good are not the same thing.]

You've done space reality TV before?

Noble. [She repeats, looking amused as she goes up to the board to pull the darts out.] I don't know. I think that's for people with lances and horses and suits of armor. [She hands the darts to Sara.] I'm more of a survivor. [Survivors don't always take care of others in the process, Kitty.]

I did prison before this. Multidimensional prison under a dome, under the sea in something like a small, weird city. Prison with a beach and an arcade.

Hey, I said noble, not chivalrous.

[lances and horses and suits of armor, coats of arms, whatever. more her mother's wheelhouse than hers, but her mother's interests tend towards more ancient history. sara accepts the darts back with a nod.]

Doesn't sound like any prison I've ever heard of. [then again.] I never heard of Interstellar Big Brother before coming here either.

Fair enough. [She gives a smile.] I've been wondering if they're related. All of them. [Since she's heard stories of lots of these places.]

Different themes, maybe the same objective.

What was the objective of that prison?

They said it was rehabilitation and preventing us from further damaging our timelines. Felt more like experimentation. Maybe entertainment. Every few days they'd do something to us or to the environment.

Maybe they were just bored. I'd believe it, at this point.

[considering the atroma's supposed obsession with ratings and reality tv and all.]

It is flattering to think I'm the cure for someone with too much power and time's boredom. Just what everyone wants to be when they grow up, right?

[entertainment. experimentation. taking people en masse and detaining them. but why? it's harder to hold people than it is to kill them. there has to be a reason for it.]

What did you mean, damaging your timelines?

With our icky, icky crime-filled ways? At least I think that's all it meant. I'm pretty sure they said it to everyone so they probably didn't mean the time I tried to help reset our timeline specifically.
