Still ain't where I be from, more just a boardin' house where kids can stay, most went to the local high school near it. 'nd even then, mon Dieu, those kids need to pick up their trainin', they just lucky most the time they buttin' heads with the Loserhood boys. Though suppose they have had a handful as it be, Juggernaut, Apocalypse, have managed to get through, somehow. [Yet over all Remy wasn't impressed with the X-Men, a good team could take them down. Hell, a good individual could take them down, Rogue had proven that with every team in the Bayville area, even the Acolytes, he still can't believe he got beaten by a kiss, how silly.]

Don't think waltzin' somehow has the same transfer ballet, does it? [Remy asked with a grin, trying to lighten the conversation back up by joking.]

[Well, Rogue is one of the X-Men, sir!] X-Men from my world aren't anything to mess with. [But you'll probably try, won't you?]

It's different, but there's still a fluidity of movement involved and some ballet involves a partner and being able to work together.

[He and cats, curiosity always got them, yet Remy also realized it may not be the smartest idea to try and take on Kitty or Kurt.] I don't doubt that for a second, petite. [It was a greatly different situation than the one he came from, a much darker world where clearly not many survived.] To watch maybe, that might be more fun. [Remy kept a certain tone in his voice as he said that, turning it into something that clearly had a teasing and flirty subtext, but still meant in a joking manner to her.]

[Remy just grinned at her first comment, kind of regretting having used a full face mask for the night, but chose to focus on the other half.] Well, I do have 'mazin' legs 'nd pretty good balance, so who knows, might be able to pull it off. Though 've seen some of those guys, donno if I could match their strength on some of the moves they can do.

...Well I am now. [Now that she put that in his head.] I was tryin' to figure out how good my legs would look in tights. Know they do in stockin's, but that normally for Rocky Horror night.

'nd would certainly try not to put ya in a place where ya feel the need to rearrange m' 'nternal organs.

And no one ever wants to let me practice precision phasing out organs. It really makes training hard.

[One of his glowing eyes vanished from behind the mask for a moment, she maybe able to work out it was caused by him giving her a wink as he continued to move them around the floor.] Ah, ya caught me, but I won't deny it.

'nd clearly ya just need to find someone with a surplus of organs to talk 'nto trainin' with.

[She does, but that mask does take some of the magic out of winking, doesn't it? Out of a lot of things. She's kind of down on the mask part of the masquerade.] I appreciate the honesty and bravery in admitting it.

Right. [It was said before Remy moved them so to put her into a slow spin, directing her back in close to him before he dipped her as the song finished up for their dance.

Pulling her back upright he took a step back to bow and 'kiss' the back of her hand.] Thank ya petite, was a mighty fine dance.

Always good to have a partner who knows what he's doing. [She smiles at him. There's amusement, but warmth too. Her Remy was the last person who spoke to her back home. He tried to warn her. She should have listened to him.]

Oh, don't ya go settin' up opportunities for me like that, ya make it hard for me to hold m' tongue 'nd not go sayin' something silly. [He gave those fingers he held of hers one last squeeze before letting go and stepping back.] Merci, Kitty.
