[He huffs at the question, because in this place that covers anywhere from the street number to the universe. So he answers in a general and a specific.]

That's an interesting point in history - an interesting era, I should say.

All of this must be quite a technology shock.

I take it you're from a future Earth, then. [Erik knows about one future, and one only. One that was hopefully dead and buried.]

I had, at least, seen DVD players and computers before coming here. More advanced ones. [He had refused to believe an entire computer could fit into the tiny laptop for a while. But he'd gotten used to the idea eventually.]

Heh, in my era, DVD players are considered vintage, at minimum. I don't know of anything that comes on a disc anymore.

Bewildered? Why would I be bewildered? It's interesting that you are from a time period that's so close to the initial contact, but that event is part of my Earth's past too.

It's not your concern. [They all revolve around Kennedy, and his hand in the assassination. Not something he feels the need to discuss, especially with someone far removed from the event.]
