He has the engineering augment. He works in IT at home. I have some practice with building and re-purposing things.

I have a very, very limited skill set, so that seems fairly impressive to me.

He'd probably be more excited about the skill set you do have. He gets pretty awestruck over powers.

There is that. I just worry about breaking things a lot. Especially people. Most of the people I hang out with can take it but...

Oh, what kind of skills were you thinking? Because, I was in more of a woodworking place and less of a breaking people with your hands place.

I once accidentally snapped a piece of rebar and lodged shrapnel two inches into the wall?

Well, that's bad for the wall. Could be extra bad on a space ship. But I'm sure there are...options.

So, how are your powers doing? Is time on the ship or the pollution when you're on the moon causing any problems?

No, mine are fine. I mean, unless you're asking in more of a "why are you asking me this personal thing" kind of way. [Kara on the other hand.] My friend with the sun-based powers seems to be having some slower-than-normal absorption with the pollution though.

Oh... no, not an issue for me. I just fly up out of the pollution layer and closer to the star to get a better absorption.

Hmm. I should suggest that. Even if she [Okay, she didn't mean to let the gender slip but moving on] can't fly well enough for that there would be ways of doing it.

I can always take her up if it would help. You can make the offer for me, so you don't tell me who she is.
