[ Isaac shrugs, though he's already regretting coming down, in some ways. The moon is pretty terrible and he doesn't feel very well at all. ]

Jade could have brought me food, too, though. Double the food.

[Davesprite just settles back in his seat, wings awkwardly folded up under his arms so they're not too in the way.]

Well, now you got ample time to ask her and don some wolfburns while you're at it.

[It's very dry.]

I can leave, you know.

[ It's a bit more heated than it should be. But yeah, talking about his inevitable transformation is exactly what he needs right now. ]

She'd make me dance anyway, and I don't feel like it.

[Davesprite winces a little, but doesn't argue. For real; if Isaac wants to leave, he should probably leave.]

Ok, now you have to go find her. You trying to dance has got to be fucking hilarious.

[And it is, but that doesn't change the fact that Isaac has more dancing experience than Davesprite.]

[ He seems to settle again, the momentary flare of irritation dying down. ] It's too bright to dance. You need like, glow sticks and stuff.

[Davesprite laughs, two notes, before he realizes—]

Oh. You're serious. Is that why you had glow sticks in your brain room?

[That is strangely hilarious.]

Yeah. I like dances, but there was this cool rave I went to.

[ Nevermind the fact that weird ninjas showed up there, too, and made everything really awkward. ]

You put on glow paint and stuff.

[This is so far outside Davesprite's bizarre yet incredibly limited experience that he has no real idea what to make of it.]

Seriously? You sure you weren't an extra in a nightclub scene for some B-rated movie?

Definitely wasn't a movie. Could have been, though, because those weird ghost ninjas showed up that night. But the dancing was the best part.

[Isaac's life is (was?) a shitty urban fantasy TV show.]

They probably showed up 'cause they couldn't take your dancing anymore.

I probably dance better than you, anyway.

[ He shrugs his shoulders, sitting up a little straighter in his seat. ] I guess the wings would get in the way, huh?

[Davesprite arches an eyebrow at him, like really dude? Each wing is folded so the wrist sticks out between his shoulder and pocketed hand, and his primaries are slotted through the empty space between the bench back and seat on either side of him.

It does not exactly look comfortable.]

I can't even sit right anymore. Factoring in movement does seem like it might complicate things, yeah.

[Heavy is the sarcasm.]

Can't they just hang over the back of the bench or something? Not like I actually care, dude. There are so many of your feathers around the ship and in my room I don't even notice them anyway.

[ Isaac shrugs, because the way Davesprite is sitting currently does look pretty uncomfortable. ] I've had a wing to the face or the head enough now that it's like whatever, been there, done that.

Yeah, yeah.

[It's frustrating, sometimes, that his wings get in the way as much as they do.]

But I don't see you hanging your arms over the back of the bench. Not comfortably, anyway.

[It's effectively a (very skeptical) challenge that Davesprite's expression matches.]

[ Isaac sees the challenge for what it is and moves to rest his arms behind the bench. It's not the most comfortable thing, but. ]

Mm. Still probably better than sitting with my arms all trapped an scrunched up, so.

[ he keeps his arms back there for emphasis. It's easier, too, because he's tall enough the bench back doesn't reach his armpits or shoulders. ] So. [ He'll just throw the challenge right back. ]

[And Davesprite just stares at Isaac silently for a couple seconds, before he looks away and lets out a soft snort.]

No thanks. You look stupid enough for both of us.

[His wings are lower than his shoulders, too, so it would look even more ridiculous from him.]

[ Isaac gives Davesprite a look, then rolls his eyes. ]

Whatever. I should probably get back, anyway. It's quieter on the ship.

[ His impulses to fight something are a little less intense there, too. No big deal. ]

[feathery]

[He impulsively glances at Isaac, concerned—whether to check if the werewolf looks shittier than he did a moment ago or if Davesprite pissed him off somehow—before he resettles himself.]

Yeah. I'll talk to you later, man.

[Really, being back on the ship has to be a little better.]

[frigidaire]

[ He stands and stretches, letting out a little huff. ]

Yeah. Don't party too hard, dude. [ He even reaches a foot out, kicking at Davesprite's shoe lightly, much in the way one might nudge a friend with an elbow. But, effort. ]

It's not as busy here like the other rooms, anyway. When you get back we should watch one of those stupid movies or something. [ Isaac can't stand being here on the moon around so many people, but also the idea of being completely left to his own devices right now is equally terrifying. ] See you later.
