[ he should've realized it -- but he doesn't act like he's blind...whatever the case may be, winn is reaching for the light switch now, turning it off, leaving only his communicator on to supply him with a little bit of light for himself. ]

That's waaaay better! [ The strain on his eyes lessens immediately to the point where it;s no longer a constant burn, and he sighs in relief as he closes his eyes and soaks in it. ]

I see best in the dark--bright lights make it really hard.

...? But with the lights out then you wouldn't be able to see. [ And everyone else? Always comes before Sascha himself. Anything to make people more likely to stay around him. ]

We can find compromises - like this, for now. And later -- we can get you cool darkening shades, or I could make myself some badass night-vision shades - it's not one or the other. [ ok the shades for sascha are the better solution, he can't make night vision shades for the entire fleet. but he can make them for himself as a side project just for the hell of it, right! ]

I have these right now... [ Sascha pulls off his UV shades and holds them out for Winn to look at if he'd like, since the lights are off and all. He's just careful to avoid looking at the luminescence given off by the communicator as well. ] Bigby lent me money to get them at the last space station.
