[ as soon as they come in, winn stands up to greet them. he kisses the top of kitty's head, and offers sascha's shoulder another friendly squeeze. ]

Hey - [ his voice is gentle, comforting. ] so, we got sorta-grilled cheese and wannabe-PB sandwich. I can try to make something else, but edibility would not be guaranteed.

[ he's not sure if he's taking the right approach here, but it's the one he's chosen so he's sticking to it! at least until he gets a response and figures out if and how to adjust. ]

[ He appreciates the squeeze♥ And sends Winn a tired but happy look when he gets it, surveying the food provided. Naturally he can't...eat any of it since his digestive track can't break down anything but meat and bones, but it's sweet Winn tried. ]

I'm okay. Not hungry.

[ he is always hungry. ]

It looks really, really great. [She reaches out to give Winn's arm a grateful squeeze.] Thank you. Favorite boyfriend.

[She always feels bad in this situations that she has nothing to offer Sascha, but it's not like they'd just have raw meat in space. Well, clearly Bigby does. It's not impossible, but it hasn't been a focus of hers or anyone else's apparently.]

You're welcome. [ he smiles at her, and offers sascha his hand ] Come on, come sit with me, let Kitty eat.

[ he won't tell him to sit without clinging to anyone like a normal person because well, he's pretty aware that he isn't one. but kitty probably needs a break from the clinging about now, and they're all sitting close to each other so maybe he could substitute her while she gets some breakfast in her. it's a rare opportunity sascha, it's pretty much the only time ever winn's going to suggest you snuggle him. ]

[ And heck if he isn't going to take it, only sending one longing and fleetingly nervous glance in Kitty's direction before he relents and nods. Winn is his best buddy ever (aside from Kirito of course!!) and if he's relaxed about Kitty, he shoud try to be too.

Even if it's not possible to make the entire journey to "relaxed." He'll still accept the offer and hover close to Winn for the time being...and of course, echoes: ]

[ So you know he isn't too far gone. ]

[Kitty bites her lip trying not to laugh at Sascha calling Winn "boyfriend" too. It does work. Laughter occurs. Sorry, boyfriend.]

[ a pained smile freezes on his face for a moment, as he shakes his head, but still wraps an arm around sascha and ruffles his hair (how did they end up with a kid to take care of? their relationship keeps leaping forward). ]

I have a name you know --

[ his voice is long-suffering, but accepting. this is his life now, isn't it? at least it's still boyfriend and not 'paramour' or any of tyrion's other suggestions. ]

[ Tyrion has great suggestions, what are you talking about! Although Sascha would say that boyfriend is greater than all of them. Kitty uses it so it is clearly the superior nickname.

...Which apparently gets him a hair ruffle, and although he looks surprised for a brief moment, that very quickly dissolves into s happy sound and--yep, here you go Winn: hug time. ]

[She smiles at Winn and mouths, "thank you". Way to take one for the team, guy.] It's a good name, Winn.

[ he nods at her a little, as if to say - I know. he's the best. walking like this isn't the easiest, but he still makes it to his chair and pulls another one close before sascha can get the idea of sitting in his lap.

he does have limits. ]

[ it's a pretty silly sounding name, especially when combined with his last name, but it's his and he likes it. ]

[ HAHA yep, he totally would have gone for that lap of yours...good call Winn. Guess he'll have to make do with a chair instead, even if he hovers shoulder-to-shoulder with him. He doesn't...get the joke, or the reference, but! Winn seems to be having fun saying it, so he musters a smile anyway as he fiddles with the edge of the table. ]

[She doesn't get the reference either, Sascha. The smile is a good sign though, right?]

These are good. [Or what passes for good.] Thanks, guy with the winning name.

[ see, this is why he likes hanging out with cisco so much. ]

I'm glad.

[ he nods, and grabs one himself, because well he hasn't really felt like eating much when he was sitting here worrying, for some strange reason. but he makes sure to keep one arm wrapped around sascha, occasionally rubbing his arm soothingly. ]

[ Like the best buddy ever. Heck, the fact that he's receiving this sort of comfort from someone other than kitty is still a shock, but he'll try not to let it show too obviously as he manages a nod--quiet, so he's still not exactly okay, but. He's not freaking out so badly anymore. ]

You know you're never going to get him off of you now, right? [Totally okay to just speak like Sascha's not in the room, right?]

Worst case scenario I'll build a set of jaws of life.

[ he shrugs. any other day he'd be pushing him off, but he knows how badly kitty's death rattled him. if kara hadn't been there to pick him up, he's not sure he would have been able to move on from it. ]

[ Yeah he's just going to send Kitty a look at that one. He's lost. ]

No more projects for you, young man. [Smiling warmly at her boyfriend before her gaze shifts to her vampire. Their vampire?]

[She's not going to be the one to explain it to him.] Are you getting sleepy?

[ he will take being called young!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even if it's while being told off. ]

Spoilsport.

[ but he smiles all the same and takes a sip of water, letting sascha answer. ]

--I'm awake! [ As if he needs to reassure them of this, even if his eyes are a little droopy behind his UV shades. He's normally long asleep by now, passed out on or under Bigby's massive paws. ]

I know. [Trying to sound soothing.] But you can sleep in my bed if you need to.

That's a pretty sweet offer - I'd take it.

Are...can you stay? Just--around? [ "Until I fall asleep?" And also "be there when I wake up?" ]

I can stay on the ship and be with you until you're asleep. [She'd do the other thing too. She's just not thinking about it.]

[ he's pretty sure the request is directed at kitty, so he just finishes his water and puts it down. ]

I can take you if you want - [ carry depends on how light he is - but he can let sascha lean on him? ]
