[Goodness. He leads them to a cafe, amused and flattered by her interest. Likely their interests in fashion will be different, but he's sure he can parse out what she might like.

Seated, with some tea ordered, he gestures towards her.]

Now, tell me: what is it you typically enjoy wearing?

[ Terrible 80s fishnets and crop tops? ]

Well, my favorite colors are purple and orange. Usually I like something that shows off my curves ... well, where I come from it's usually warm, so it's not too much material, either. But I don't mind sweaters and things like that, as long as they're not baggy and make me look fat.

[parricida]

[Purple and orange, goodness, what a combination. Perhaps he can steer her towards something a bit more pleasing to the eye-- gold and orange, perahps, she looks like someone on whom warm colors would be flattering.

As for the rest, he nods.]

Trousers, then, I assume?

[Taking a napkin and pulling a pen from his pocket, he begins sketching.]

I'm fine with a skirt, too.

All right. Let's see . . . what about something like this?

[It's a rather rough sketch, but he shows her something along these lines.]

[ Ooh! She leans in to look, clearly impressed ]

It's pretty ... !

[ It's not really at all what she was talking about, but she's too distracted by how fast he just made that up to care -- and really, that's for the best ... ]

But maybe a cutout, here? [ She points to the stomach area ] I think I've seen a dress that's styled like that. A sah-ru? Sah-ren?

A sari, perhaps?

[He erases and adds, putting a cutout where she added, trimming the sleeves as well.]

--Yeah, that's it!

[ She beams down at what he's changing ]

You don't think that would be too difficult, do you?

[parricida]

Not in the least. I'll have to take your measurements-- perhaps tomorrow? But it shouldn't be too difficult.

[ino]

Oh, I already know my measurements! But I guess if you need to take them again ...

[parricida]

It can't hurt. Besides, I'd rather do things the right way for starters-- though if the thought makes you uncomfortable, I can simply mark the numbers while you do it yourself!

That's true ...
