[Michael isn't immune to the lure of a pretty face. Well, accurately put, pretty faces are often not immune to him, despite the fact that he doesn't exactly look like some kind of Adonis. It doesn't affect everyone, though, especially when the effect is dulled by his relative stillness. Just as well. Getting swarmed at every step would be annoying.

He's smoking outside of a bar on Accendo, shoulders back against the wall and head tilted towards the darkening sky, when he notices the woman walking past. He pauses,,cigarette poised halfway to his lips, and struggles to place that aching sense of familiarity]

[--and with Michael's aura being so hard to ignore, there's no way she could miss it. she glances back when she's several step past him, and... oh, that recent boost of gregarious feelings she's been enduring makes it hard not to just grin and gravitate right toward a familiar face.

she still smiles, but manages to keep it reined in to something coy instead of overenthusiastic, and she wiggles her fingers at him in a little wave.]

[He could turn it off if he really wanted to, but there's rarely a downside. He also doesn't tend to waste much energy on flirting as a result. It's kind of cheating, but so is being the right hand of God.

He blows out a column of smoke and smiles back at her.

[yeah, that's definitely some eloquence there. but she certainly doesn't seem to mind.]

What are you doing standing around all alone?

Taking a moment to contemplate the wonder of creation. [His smiles widens, which makes it a far better line than his opener]

[He pushes away from the building with a deceptively agile hip bump and saunters closer]

There's quite a few things you can only really appreciate with another person.

[and, oh, she's not shy about giving him a little glance up and down as he makes his way over. the guy really does have a strange charm about him, doesn't he? she especially likes the saunter.]

I like people who can understand the benefits of a little good company.

It'd be a lonely existence otherwise...

[He'll hold out an for her to either take or to slide behind her back, whichever suits her better, smiling with that same confidant, dimple-cheeked smile.]

[she pauses to consider it, before eventually deciding to take his arm. it leaves room to sneak closer later, whenever she decides that she wants to make a point.

but she's cozy about it, taking his elbow and laying her other hand along his upper arm as well.]

It would be a boring one, at the very least.

And boredom is dangerous--so, I suppose I'm very lucky that I happened upon you when I did.

Well...lonely and boring? Not always the same thing.

[He starts walking at an easy pace, the night quiet to one side of them, and the thrum of music from some club or bar in the distance on the other.]

[she gets very comfortable where she's at, completely at ease. the mix of surroundings plus a companion on her arm is exactly what she'd been looking for.]

I got bored.

[said very matter-of-fact, because yes... there is indeed a big difference between lonely and boring.]
