[ah, and she smiles. only a few ever comment on the marks, and fewer still pinpoint the actual nature of them.]

Oh, you are sharp.

[and although it won't affect her in the least--as neutral as water running into more water--she obediently tucks her hair over her shoulder, and leans over to inhale.

with wine, she can at least appreciate the taste of the drink over the lack of alcoholic effect. the smell here, however, leaves something to be desired.

though, she supposes, it has been quite a long time since she's tasted poison simply for the appreciation of it. she can manage that, at least. so, she breathes in the toxins, analyzes them, mulls them over and picks the chemicals apart as they become part of her.]

Observation is my job, you know. Enjoying it?

Mm. [her nod is a lazy one, nice and loose. of all the drug effects, feigning the opiate lull is the one that comes the most naturally to her. acting lethargic and pleased with the world is more or less her on a normal day anyway.]

And, is it? You've told me plenty about your home, but comparatively little about yourself.

Oh, and what would you like to know?
heresyandlace: (maybe she's born with it)

Everything.

[a very lazy smile, and she settles back.]

But your 'job' is a good place to start.
