[ he laughs and starts running, actually much faster than he used to be; all of that training with jim is really starting to pay off. he knows to her he's still basically a snail, but it's an accomplishment to him and he just feels exhilarated and happy - not something he experiences nearly often enough. it's nice, getting to not feel like a complete and utter physical failure for a change.

he keeps running as he makes it to the water, and throws himself right in as soon as it's deep enough. popping back out a moment later, he shakes his hair like a dog, very purposefully spraying her. ]

[ she floats backwards but lets him win. it's a compromise. when she gets to the water, though, she goes under as well and does a full Ariel hair flick. if she happens to smack winn in the face in return, well, that's just what happens ]
