yo space-folks :)

Now that we now that 1000 writers, film producers and game creators were wrong and that aliens don't want to exterminate earth or experiment on our bodies or have us have weird alien babies ( has no one seen the Alien? ) -- but they do like space reality shows the questions that must be asked are those:

1. do you think people who are sent home are just too boring to the audience?

2. ergo, should we all try being as stale as day old bread and hope for the best?

3. do you think the alien audience has a favorite and if so, who is it? I have my guesses, not sharing unless you tell me yours.

4. ok but is anyone's hair a mess because of all of this humidity?

5. are you all aware we are on a jurassic park planet and could be eaten by raptors at any given time? ( HINT: lock your doors )

1. I think there must be more reasons than that. Maybe their stories are out of hand or something has happened at home, or the Atroma need to bring someone else in so they send someone back?

2. If it was that easy I'd be home already, Cisco.

3. I imagine it's the ones out there having adventures?

4. ... I don't want to talk about it.

[ And she ignores number five, mostly because she's trying to find out what a Jurassic park is, other than the obvious. ]

we need to talk about your alien stereotyping, Cisco.

why would you even bring that up

as if it isn't weird enough to be filmed all the time

1. It would make sense, wouldn't it? There are only so many ships and so many supplies. If we're thinking about this as a serious television show then they must have a budget, too, so... Maybe they can only sustain a certain amount of us and have to change things in and out.

2. You were letting me win.

3. Well then, I'm sure you'll be entertaining the masses! Nothing to worry about.

4. I left my good, magical conditioner at home - most of the time it wasn't worth the effort, but right now...

Please don't joke about raptors. You are joking, right?

You better hope they're strong doors.

I don't know what movie you're talking about though.

1973, Cisco.

And I have an intense dislike of raptors why would I watch a movie about them.

1. It's entirely possible. It explains why people don't seem to have memories of this place when they go back, too - to stop people spreading the news, or to make it more dramatic when they do come back here. Whatever the reason, it's not exactly nice.

2. You absolutely were. :)

3. Maybe we should be staying out of the jungle, Cisco???

4. At least you haven't actually seen my hair yet. You'd be afraid.

You'll have to bribe me to watch it if we ever do find a way to get it.

It wasn't a mutant raptor. You don't want me to tell you what happened.

1. Maybe that would work for people who form relationships here? I know I wouldn't want to leave without the person I loved.

2. I won one for you! That counts, doesn't it?

3. Don't do it again! Be safe, or I'll have to come and scold you.

4. It's so huge, it's awful. Small animals are lost in there.

1. I don't think so; I know at least ONE person who was pretty fun that got sent home, and if that were true why would they bring people BACK?

2. ... I don't know. I mean I'd LOVE to see home and my friends... but then I don't know if I'd remember you guys. Or that I've got a special somepony now. Bigby said that you usually DON'T remember stuff from worlds like this when you go home, and I want to.

3. Hmmm I dunno! Who's YOUR guess?

4. Heehee, my hair's ALWAYS poofy!

5. OOOOOH I didn't know this planet was a park!!! What's a jurassic park and what's a raptor?!

[Just going to gently assume that a) Dinosaurs exist but the archaeological periods are named VERY different things, and b) raptors weren't park of Equestrian history.]

I've seen Alien because you MADE me see it. And Aliens. And Alien 3.

1. I don't know if that's the reason, but I don't have a better theory.

2. I think that idea is just going to end up causing us more grief.

3. I'm sure they have different favorites.

4. Quit worrying about your hair.

5. Didn't the raptors figure out how to unlock doors?

This was in the other world I went to. We didn't win.

[they lost, very very badly]
