yo space-folks :)

Now that we now that 1000 writers, film producers and game creators were wrong and that aliens don't want to exterminate earth or experiment on our bodies or have us have weird alien babies ( has no one seen the Alien? ) -- but they do like space reality shows the questions that must be asked are those:

1. do you think people who are sent home are just too boring to the audience?

2. ergo, should we all try being as stale as day old bread and hope for the best?

3. do you think the alien audience has a favorite and if so, who is it? I have my guesses, not sharing unless you tell me yours.

4. ok but is anyone's hair a mess because of all of this humidity?

5. are you all aware we are on a jurassic park planet and could be eaten by raptors at any given time? ( HINT: lock your doors )

1. I think there must be more reasons than that. Maybe their stories are out of hand or something has happened at home, or the Atroma need to bring someone else in so they send someone back?

2. If it was that easy I'd be home already, Cisco.

3. I imagine it's the ones out there having adventures?

4. ... I don't want to talk about it.

[ And she ignores number five, mostly because she's trying to find out what a Jurassic park is, other than the obvious. ]

1. It would make sense, wouldn't it? There are only so many ships and so many supplies. If we're thinking about this as a serious television show then they must have a budget, too, so... Maybe they can only sustain a certain amount of us and have to change things in and out.

2. You were letting me win.

3. Well then, I'm sure you'll be entertaining the masses! Nothing to worry about.

4. I left my good, magical conditioner at home - most of the time it wasn't worth the effort, but right now...

1. I don't think so; I know at least ONE person who was pretty fun that got sent home, and if that were true why would they bring people BACK?

2. ... I don't know. I mean I'd LOVE to see home and my friends... but then I don't know if I'd remember you guys. Or that I've got a special somepony now. Bigby said that you usually DON'T remember stuff from worlds like this when you go home, and I want to.

3. Hmmm I dunno! Who's YOUR guess?

4. Heehee, my hair's ALWAYS poofy!

5. OOOOOH I didn't know this planet was a park!!! What's a jurassic park and what's a raptor?!

[Just going to gently assume that a) Dinosaurs exist but the archaeological periods are named VERY different things, and b) raptors weren't park of Equestrian history.]

I've seen Alien because you MADE me see it. And Aliens. And Alien 3.

1. I don't know if that's the reason, but I don't have a better theory.

2. I think that idea is just going to end up causing us more grief.

3. I'm sure they have different favorites.

4. Quit worrying about your hair.

5. Didn't the raptors figure out how to unlock doors?

1. Yes and no. The answer is more complex than that.

2. Chances are they'll give you added motivation to act up.

3. Probably those Westeros people. Or the ones who hail from a galaxy far far away.

4. No.

5. Also this is more akin to Lost World but without Jeff Goldblum.

The aliens here don't want to kill us. They're also kinder than the ones I knew back home.

As for your questions....

3) Yeah, but the best way to tell that is by comparing your ratings. The more the audience likes you, the more you'll get paid.
[He might be speaking from experience.]

5) We have more than enough people capable of killing them. I'm sure we'll be fine.

1. It's possible, but a lot of interesting people seem to go home. But I guess who knows what our weird alien viewership likes? Of course, it's also possible the Atroma have no real control over who stays.

2. We'd get bored very fast.

3. Probably Sam. He has space orgies on camera.

4. YES. I'm glad I cut it short.

5. define "jurassic park planet". but I'm avoiding those forests, yes.

Why would aliens want to exterminate the earth or any of that other stuff?

1 & 2. I've known plenty of interesting people who have disappeared/gone home. (Not to mention, we don't actually have any confirmation that they HAVE gone home, you know. Also, personally, still not buying the reality holo premise.)

3. See above.

4. Why would humidity make a difference?
[Be kind to her, Cisco, she doesn't have hair.]

1. It may be that. I think it may also be an attempt to provoke an entertaining response in the people still remaining.

2. I wouldn't hold out much hope of manipulating the system.

3. I have no idea what other cultures would find appealing.

4. I would give half my credits to someone who could engineer a shampoo that would combat it.

5. There has been only rumors from the locals but your advice is so noted. I would rather not repeat that experience.

Though, on that thought, I wonder if that's why they live in trees.
