First Command /\ Video

Who: Stephanie Amell, and YOU!
Broadcast: Video
Action: Marsiva Hospitality Deck
When: Right now! FABULOUS!

Ah, hello?

[ Oh, look, a new face! A rather young new face, wearing what most (if not all) the Thedosians of the Fleet will likely be able to recognize as a Grey Warden's uniform/armor/thingummy. Her accent is distinctly Ferelden, and she sounds a bit uncertain, but smiles at the camera anyway. ]

This is... rather strange, I must admit. I'm certain this isn't the Fade, which must mean it's real, even though I don't really see how it could be.

I don't suppose anyone could tell me what's going on?

[Oh. A friend. yeah, he can probably tell with that hesitation-- you gave yourself away, Steph.]

So the Witch of the Wilds is really a witch and not just a dragon with a penchant for dramatic entrances. Sounds like that's going to bite us in the ass later.

On the other hand, without Flemeth's help there'd be no Hawke. That's... not something I really want to think about.

[Uh huh. But anyway, he's always happy to talk about Hawke.]

It's a long story. Basically someone took an important relic. They didn't tell us about it, they just said they were waiting for a ship to come get them after they wrecked off Kirkwall's shore. But it took... years. And in those years, the leader, this Arishok guy, he got more and more angry. There was some tension between the Qunari and the Chantry, obviously, which didn't help. And someone assassinated a high profile Qunari convert, which also didn't help.

So the Arishok took over the city. Killed the Viscount. He respected Hawke, though, and challenged her to a duel. Called her... basalit-an, or something.

Yep, you got it. [He decides to hold off on mentioning Sten for now.] She was fair in pretty much everything she did. It was a little weird seeing a human and a Qunari agreeing on some things, but she always championed changing for the better when he wanted to give up on it. She honestly believed Kirkwall could improve.

[His voice roughens. It's a point of bitterness.]

It's a shame more people didn't share that view.
