First Command /\ Video
Who: Stephanie Amell, and YOU!
Broadcast: Video
Action: Marsiva Hospitality Deck
When: Right now! FABULOUS!
Ah, hello?
[ Oh, look, a new face! A rather young new face, wearing what most (if not all) the Thedosians of the Fleet will likely be able to recognize as a Grey Warden's uniform/armor/thingummy. Her accent is distinctly Ferelden, and she sounds a bit uncertain, but smiles at the camera anyway. ]
This is... rather strange, I must admit. I'm certain this isn't the Fade, which must mean it's real, even though I don't really see how it could be.
I don't suppose anyone could tell me what's going on?

This is certainly not the Fade, nor is it Thedas. You have been brought to the Fleet, largely for the entertainment of others.

Ah.
[ she sighs softly and rubs her face with an ungloved hand. ]
Well. Whatever magic this is, they could've had better timing. I was doing something important.

As were we all. Time, if stands still, back home, so when you return it will be as if nothing happened.
...I am still unsure if it is magic or science.
[Thanks, Exsilium, for making him aware that there is distinction.]

Well, I suppose that's better than nothing. [ half to herself ] If I must be wherever here is for some stranger's bizzare entertainment, at least I'm not letting Morrigan get any further away while I'm here.
[ She puts on a smile again that's only a little bit forced. ]
Well. Strange place-that-is-not-Thedas aside, it's lovely to meet you. My name is Stephanie Amell.

Good to meet you. I am Fenris.

Definitely not a Dalish.

I'm sorry?

[He rubs his chin.]
You look like a Grey Warden and you're too pretty to be Alistair, so I guess that makes you the Hero of Ferelden, doesn't it? I bet you have lots of stories.
Anyway. Allow me to welcome you to the worst stage play ever, where ships float through the void and even the Maker can't hear you scream.
video;
[ Oh, she has no hope of covering it up and she knows it, alas, but she can put up a BIT of a fight! ]
Stephanie Amell. I'd say thank you for the welcome but that doesn't really seem to be the right word for it... [ grimaces a little ]
Thank you for the compliment, incidentally, I do like to think I'm prettier than Alistair.

[He tilts his head a little, smiling back.]
Varric Tethras. Rogue, businessman, occasional rogue businessman.
Amell... Amell... that name actually sounds familiar.
video;
Lovely to meet you, Master Tethras. You're not from Orzammar, are you? Your accent's completely off for it.
[ she looks a bit surprised ] Really? I've yet to run into anyone with that surname, I assumed it was one the Circle gave me.

Well, it does seem that Thedas is a popular home for adventurers here on the fleet.

[ She tries to sound insulted, but there's a laugh under it, teasing at the corners of her mouth ]
I'll have you know I enjoy my rustic southern living.

[There's a faint, wry grin on his face. Hope you like elves, Stephanie, because you're getting another one- Dalish flavor, this time.]
I can sympathize with the strangeness, at least. This is nothing like Thedas.
(video)
Very unlike. I suppose it could be worse, though - the view is amazing! I never could've imagined it, it's like drowning in stars.

They are beautiful, aren't they? I think I still prefer seeing the stars through the trees, but I have to admit it's fascinating to know how they look from here, too. It almost makes you feel small.

[His nose wrinkles slightly at the thought. ...and alright, they're not what he's primarily dealt with, but he understands the sentiment regardless.]
It's been a different sort of trouble, on my end, but it feels like it's been entire ages since I had the time to rest without Thedas finding itself a new crisis. You'd think people would solve the current one before adding more problems.
[This is exactly why he preferred living in the woods, damn it.]

[ she huffs ]
It was just problem after problem that we had to solve before anyone could help!
