[ some of you may have noticed that winn has been uncharacteristically quiet for the past...16 days. he's not really sure how to address the elephant in the room - he knows these two weeks and change have been hard on the people he loves but for him it's like no time has passed and the dissonance is hard to bridge.

it's a good thing he has a not at all unhealthy coping mechanism set in place. ]

You know, if we're entertainment on a reality show, the least they can do is give us like a recap - you know your basic [ in a tv announcer impression ] here's what you missed on the Fleet - or - last week, on the young and the Drifting - [ he rubs the back of his head before shaking it ] Well, maybe talking about the 'least they can do' isn't such a great plan...first order of business - what'd I miss? [ well yes, but they weren't talking or seeing each other regularly for most of them so that may not count. ]

[She laughs against him.] This is an excellent technique but it might slow you down if you do it with everyone.

[ chuckling and kissing her cheek ]

On a scale of 1 to 10 - 1 being 'eww get off me' and 10 being [ moaning exaggeratedly ] how would you rate your overall experience with us today, keeping in mind your boyfriend has just woken up from a coma and has a very fragile ego.

I love being your favorite girlfriend. Makes the others jealous. [Nuzzling. See how fun these jokes are when the person doesn't get jealous?]

[ extremely fun. he loves her confidence (and envies it). then again, if he were dating him he wouldn't get jealous either. ]

Wow a star - is it gold? [ he's positively giddy ] mmmhm - and if the aforementioned provisions didn't apply?

[That isn't why she isn't jealous! How dare you, sir?]

What would improve your experience, you know, besides a fully functioning partner -

[She traces her fingers over his shoulder.] Knowing I make you feel so loved and secure that you never have to worry. [Is she cheating? Maybe a little.]

[ he laughs and kisses her, full of affection. ]

[She laughs into the kiss.] I've been really happy with us. I mean, there are other things I could be into too, but I don't feel like anything is missing.

Oh yeah, [ propping himself up on his elbow ] like what?

[ he shrugs a little ]

I'm still not over the I get to be with a woman that beautiful awe.

Flatterer. [She smiles though. She knows he means it even if she doesn't see how he can be that enamored of her looks and not see his own.]

Weeeeell, we don't get a lot of chances to do things [Sex things!] anywhere but in bed and that could be fun sometimes. [They did start in a closet after all. Kind of a missed opportunity on the planet.]

[ he does mean it wholeheartedly. she's stunning and to him - completely out of his league.

that wins her a raised brow and a strange sort of smile ]

Yeah? That could be fun - [ except they live in seriously close quarters on the ships, so while they're drifting through space it may be difficult to arrange. somewhere that isn't a bad - sure. in front of an audience? he's out. ]

Yeah, I think it could be. Beds are pretty nice too though. Because this is just me being awesomely open with you because you asked a question. I am a very happy and satisfied girlfriend. [Kiss. Yes, she's a little worried he'll try and build them a place to have sex if left to his own devices and make it a project when it should just be a moment of passion that can't wait.]

[ for once he's not really thinking of making something into a project at all, because building a place for sex is kind of...creepy to him. ]

So, really nothing you've ever thought about? [Because now she's curious.]

[ he fidgets a little though, because while he's sure kitty would have no problem with his preference - it's not exactly a revolutionary concept, even within their existing relationship - it's still embarrassing to say. ]

But if I'm really pressed - it could be fun if you run the show sometimes. [ he loves their equal footing and wouldn't give it up for the world. but he does have a thing for strong women. ]

[It's very vulnerable just to say what you like even if what you like is still pretty vanilla. She felt the same way just now. But he was cool with her and she has every intention to be cool with him.]

Oh no, what if I like it too much? [She waggles an eyebrow at him.] Might go right to my head. [She kisses his neck softly.]

Mmmhm -- that's a risk I'm willing to take.

[ only because he's convinced there is no risk at all. he runs his fingers through her hair. ]

[Leaning into that touch.] Look at us talking even without a planet shoving our thoughts at each other. [She's pretty damn happy. He's awake and they're sharing. Does it even get better than this?]

We're definitely winning at being a couple.

[ he keeps at it, massaging her scalp ]

Cool, is there a trophy?

[ he's filled with so much content at seeing her so happy, knowing that he did that. not by building something, or giving her something - just by being with her and by being his own silly self. they really are winning at being a couple. ]

There better be. I'm in it for the awards and accolades. [Nuzzling. She couldn't look more pleased with the situation if she tried.] I'm going to sleep so well tonight. [She hadn't been while he was asleep.]

Mmhm. [ he chuckles softly ]

If you're feeling sleepy I could meet up with Hank and Cisco at Kara's office.

That might be better than having them sit on the bed now anyway.
