Those of you who are familiar—or who have had enough introductions to become familiar—might recognize the striped grey and blue of a Grey Warden uniform, with its high, studded collar, and the curled griffon on the shoulder.

Anders is, for his part, smiling broadly.]

So! Now that I've gotten through the "manhandled into a tin can" bit, closely followed by the "manhandled into a slightly smaller tin can" bit, I thought I'd take some time to say hello. Is everyone comfortable? Because I am not, thanks for asking. [beat] Does it ever bother you how terribly one-sided this is?

[Let him talk and he'll talk. Congratulations on being the captive audience.

Right, back on track.]

Now, I don't usually mind a bit of manhandling, of course, but even I have some standards. It was all terribly anticlimactic. Hardly a kidnapping at all, really.

Anyhow. [with a bit more grandeur:] I believe introductions are in order, don't you? I'm going to eat this [he lifts the little dessert cream in a toast] so you go first.

Oh, I know you can hear us. That's the point. You haven't met any of the fun demons yet, it seems. I know a few who are very "I will destroy you and everything that you love."

[Over the top? Yes, but nobody ever said that Cole wasn't.

And sorry, Anders, Cole's gonna take a moment to turn his attention back to Kaneis.]

How am I supposed to know that angels don't? And it's amusing. I get the best reactions when I bring out Belthazor.

[lol jk it is every demon. Even if he's pleasant enough, he knows better than to think otherwise. He doesn't really care what either of them say about "demons here," he's been trained his whole life not to give an inch on that particular thought process.]

You might have gotten a better one out of me, except you're not half as ugly as the beasts I deal with on a daily basis. Sorry to disappoint! But you should consider it a compliment.

[There's a pause from Kaneis, before he breaks into snickering like a very mature teenager as he talks]

I don't mind the lack of a reaction too much, it just means that I'm not getting attacked again and I am definitely taking that as a compliment.

[At Kaneis's comment, he laughs and shifts back to his human form, definitely grinning widely.]

Actually, that's what what my mother named it since it needed a proper name and all.

[Anders goes momentarily silent, more unnerved by this form, ironically enough, than the first.

Only momentarily, though. He's never actually silent for long.]

So glad to be getting this bit of insight into demon daily life. I'm sure the enchanters are all practically seething with jealousy by now.
