[He surprises himself when the feed clicks on easily enough. It's unsettling, but at least it's simple. He can bury the unsettling parts.

Those of you who are familiar—or who have had enough introductions to become familiar—might recognize the striped grey and blue of a Grey Warden uniform, with its high, studded collar, and the curled griffon on the shoulder.

Anders is, for his part, smiling broadly.]

So! Now that I've gotten through the "manhandled into a tin can" bit, closely followed by the "manhandled into a slightly smaller tin can" bit, I thought I'd take some time to say hello. Is everyone comfortable? Because I am not, thanks for asking. [beat] Does it ever bother you how terribly one-sided this is?

[Let him talk and he'll talk. Congratulations on being the captive audience.

Right, back on track.]

Now, I don't usually mind a bit of manhandling, of course, but even I have some standards. It was all terribly anticlimactic. Hardly a kidnapping at all, really.

Anyhow. [with a bit more grandeur:] I believe introductions are in order, don't you? I'm going to eat this [he lifts the little dessert cream in a toast] so you go first.

Fenris just squints at the screen, he's used to time shenanigans by now. If you live in a place where time travel is the name of the game, it becomes the status quo. But this is something very out of the ordinary. Maybe he has a brother, or something. He'll carefully venture, but the disdain is still there:]

Well, you're taking this as well as could be expected from anyone.

And I've heard it's rude to ask for introductions without saying who you are first.

[he chuckles, giving a little wave at the camera.]

[By the time Jove comes across this message, it's already quite clear who this particular mage is. All in all, he's absolutely not what she expected the catalyst of a mage rebellion to look like, but isn't that always the way? She was just an elf, he looks and sounds like just a human, and the whole thing is going to give her a headache bad enough to make even Mythal cry.

When she goes home, she's giving her advisors a talking to. They absolutely do not pay her enough for this.]

I'm sorry, am I hearing this right? You're Anders?

Oh, what flavor is it? [Komaeda has been fussing around in the kitchen lately, and to say that he's unimpressed with nutrient paste is.... a vast understatement.]

[Kaneis meanwhile needs a minute. This guy looks so familiar- where has he seen him before?]

[Then, it clicks. Normally, he doesn't make it that big a deal that he knew someone before- in case they don't remember. However this guy was SO special, he'll make an exception]

I know you! You're that guy from the Exsilium clinic that gave that terrible venereal disease lecture after Valentine's day!

[Which hey, wait. It's the day after that holiday isn't it? His face scrunches]

Oh no- they didn't bring you here to give that lecture to the fleet, did they?! [UGH]

[The obnoxious sound of the confetti popping and welcoming music meant that there was someone new aboard. It'd only been a week since he heard it when he arrived on the ship himself. Well, might as well go and meet the new company. It's not like he had been doing anything important anyways, just avoiding his bossy, pint-sized captain.]

Ah, hello. You must be the new guy. I'm Tohru Adachi, the security officer on this ship. [He offers Anders a wave in greeting.]

[ Here's a familiar young face, in similar armor, grinning ear-to-ear - she hasn't forgotten what Fenris told her, but she can't restrain her first instinct, which is to be so damned glad to see a familiar face ]

Anders! Maker's breath, it is good to see you!

Oh, another one.

[ she is completely disregarding what anders has said. ]

You're new on this ship, correct? [ obviously you are. yes, go ahead, keep eating, she's going to assume things. she digs out her little notebook, flipping through a page or two. ] What sort of vacancy do we have...? I'm the engineer, we have our security man... a pilot as well...

[Dwarf squint.]

Wow, that was one of the most pointless posts on this thing that I've seen yet. Congrats.

[Here's the thing: Arhen could easily be upset about whatever associations he has with Anders' name (thank you, communicator-thing, you're useful after all), but- well, honestly, he doesn't especially care. All of that mages and templars business was between them and the rest of the Andrastians, and the only part that ever mattered was the fighting beginning to pose a risk to the clan.

Besides, he's yet to meet a Templar he liked (at least, one that hadn't left the order), and the Circles sounded terrible. Guess which elf is totally okay with dismantling that, just guess.

So Arhen is perfectly cheerful when he finds a spot to hop up and perch, settling in with all the ease of someone used to far more difficult climbs.]

They're very fond of us from Thedas here, aren't they? I'll admit, though, I'm surprised they're dragging off Wardens.

[He's pretty sure they're all a bit mad. Just a bit.]
