[Kitty is on screen looking much more feminine than last time.]

Does anyone have any apples or honey or anything close to either from the last stop? I was...just thinking about it today. [Softer.] Not that I even know how to tell when sundown is in space.

[But she knows it's close to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, but nailing down a date would take calculating she can't do based on a moon that's not even here. She's not really a religious person and has some definite issues with god especially after everything she's been through back home, but the traditions remind her of better times when she was young with her family. She didn't think about it much in the last place because they didn't run off of a calendar she was familiar with, but here it brings back memories.]

Anyway, I'd trade for some if you do. We'll work something out.

Leshana tovah. [She's wishing people a good year in Hebrew, but she doesn't bother explaining the meaning.]

I never claimed not to be awkward. Go for it. [Leading him closer to more objects for greater testing. She reaches out as if to demonstrate letting her hand pass through a sconce.]

[He's going to just thrust his hand through the closest wall without a semblance of grace or gravity about any of this.]

This. Is. Epic.

Not terrifying? [She enjoys fearless reactions best. You know, unless it is someone she's fighting.]

It's the furthest thing from terrifying! So are my atoms basically mixing with the atoms of the wall?

[Making an attempt to wiggle his fingers inside the wall!]

[A nod.] Hence why letting go is a really, really bad idea.

[He squeezes her hand a little at that, as if reassuring himself that he definitely has not let go.]

Loss of limb would certainly put a bit of damper on my career.

[Not at all surprised by the squeeze at that point.] Beats having your head stuck in something though.

Can you actually see if you do stick your head through something?

Not so much. But I have a sense of things like the density of what I'm passing through. [Which is helpful to know when she can solidify.]

[And now he's trying to venture elbow-deep into the wall.]

Can I just say that this is probably one of the coolest moments in my entire life?

[That gets a little smile. So much better than being feared and hated even if it's more dangerous in a way. It can always be pulled away.] We can walk all the way through if you want?

How does that song go? "Where you lead, I will follow!"

I don't think I know that one. But here we go. Remember rule number one. [She starts through the wall, keeping a tight grip on his hand. Not much chattiness happening within the wall but it isn't long before the emerge on the other side.]

[He waits until he's all the way through before he does a nerdy little jig of excitement, still clasping her hand tightly.]

That was brilliant! Can we go again?

You really have to meet Winn. [She hasn't seen anyone so excited about it since him.] Um, but yeah, sure. Give me a second. [Can't stay phased all the time.]

You don't have to tire yourself out on my behalf! I can always wait for next time!

Actual second. I'm fine. Just can't hold it for a huge duration. Back in the day I could only go for as long as I could hold my breath in a stretch.

So do you think it's tied to your ventilation? The phasing, I mean.

I think it might have just been a mental block on it. Go again? [Ready to step away from being analyzed.]

[Probably for the best. It's old issues. Nothing he's done or doing.] Off we go. [He knows the rules, so she trusts him to follow along with his hand in hers.]

[Frankly, his hand is probably starting to get a little clammy from all the excitement.

He manages not to break into a jig once they're through the wall again, but his smile is just as wide.]

You know I'm going to ask to do this at least once every time that we meet from now on, yeah?

Maybe I'll start charging for rides. [And once they are safely out she solidifies them again and releases that hand of his. She doesn't mention any clamminess at least!]

I knew I should've been less effusive about the whole thing!

[But he grins as he says it and cocks his head in the direction that he thinks the bar is in.]

I was just about to grab a drink, if you'd like to join me! The responsible adult in me has decided to get something of the non-alcoholic variety, because I suppose drinking-and-driving is still something to be frowned upon in space.

Oh, no, you can get wasted and fly a shuttle into a ship. Everyone loves that. But sure, I've got some time.

But you'll want to go this way. [Nodding her head in the actual direction of the bar.]
