Why'd You Kill the Merchant?!
Who: ALL O' Y'ALL
Broadcast: If you want
Action: FRICK YEAH PARTY AT THE JUNKYARD...I mean, Waystation. Junkstation.
When: 10/07 - Event End
It looks more like a junk heap than a waystation, but luckily there aren't any math fetishists to add you to the pile (hopefully). Talk to the scavengers and heed their warnings...if you want. Or perhaps you'll approach a shady individual for purchasing or selling stuff.
"Welcome, stranger!"

I'm Takeshi, miss! I'm the captain of the SS Golden.
I'm glad we got a new engineer; the last one was no good.
... He was real mean and took stuff apart that he shouldnt'a.

[Kaylee then shook her head.]
Now that's dangerous. You need to know what you're doin' when you takes stuff apart, so you can put it back together, or else your whole crew could be falling out of the sky.

[He repeats it back eagerly, puffing his chest a bit.]
I try to do my best, ma'am! I didn't really plan t'be a captain but I don't mind it, s'long as I do a good job for my crew! [He nods, continuing in deeper thought.] It's really important to be careful in space. Lots of people don't understand that! You don't want any explosions or fire, or to break the walls, 'cus there's no air outside. It could be baaad. Real, real bad.

Yeah, I've been through explosions on a ship before. It's scary, so I do everything I can to stop that from happening. I've been working on ships all my life, so I've got lots of experience at it.

[He blushes, looking at his feet. He does worry that he won't be good enough for the others.]
I've been around explosions, too. I was on a ship as big as a whole city that crashed!
no subject
Whoa, really? The crashin' part is scary, but I've never been on one of those big city-size ships before. That was always for rich folks and Alliance people.
no subject
For rich folks? I don't think anybody rich'd like this one... It had monsters in it!

And who have more than one room in their house! And don't sleep in the living room!
no subject
Uh-huh, folks who got a lot of money. And they can afford real food instead of protein all the time.
no subject
Well, you can make lots of credits here! But it's credits you get from the bad guys, so I dunno how great that is... But at least you can buy good food if you don't like the stuff on the ship!

At all.]
They pay us money 'cus they... watch us on cameras and stuff. And make us a TV show.
I don't know why people'd like to watch us on a show, though.
