Why'd You Kill the Merchant?!
Who: ALL O' Y'ALL
Broadcast: If you want
Action: FRICK YEAH PARTY AT THE JUNKYARD...I mean, Waystation. Junkstation.
When: 10/07 - Event End
It looks more like a junk heap than a waystation, but luckily there aren't any math fetishists to add you to the pile (hopefully). Talk to the scavengers and heed their warnings...if you want. Or perhaps you'll approach a shady individual for purchasing or selling stuff.

[Throwing a knife at a certain Resistance pilot sounded nice but it would take practice to pull off. Still, having knowledge of even a primitive weapon might prove to be useful in close range.]

What kind generator do you use?
no subject
[Shrug.] I don't know, that's something the weapons techs came up with. I don't know how it works other than the basic theory.

[He was looking for any projects he could find here, he would take anything he could get honestly and this seemed interesting.]

[He really doesn't like weapons which are basically toys either. He misses his rarely used blaster even.]
no subject
Which is... Kinda weird when you think about it.

[This is he surprised by. He had managed to find some interesting parts around but the power source would be the tricky part.]
I'm curious how you managed that.

[She shrugs.]
I'm not an engineer. But I tested a lot of float chairs when I was on medical discharge, so I could describe the concepts and specs and do some of the design work. The super smart engineers I got to help me did the real work. And me and Winter came up with all the credits to buy the materials.

What did you use to power the chair?

[He's had to lower his expectations a lot when it came to assuming how advanced other people here were though. Anyone who knew how to put things together and who knew what a computer was seemed promising.]
no subject
[She laughs.] Yeah, there are a lot of people who aren't used to tech, but it's not really their fault they come from like dark ages Earth.

[And honestly, he didn't see what was so special about a planet which hadn't even advanced far enough to go to their own moon. No one had been able to explain to him in a way that made sense.]

I think out of the people who come from some kind of Earth, I'm the furthest in the future?
no subject
I couldn't imagine being confined to one star system, let alone one planet.
