Why'd You Kill the Merchant?!
Who: ALL O' Y'ALL
Broadcast: If you want
Action: FRICK YEAH PARTY AT THE JUNKYARD...I mean, Waystation. Junkstation.
When: 10/07 - Event End
It looks more like a junk heap than a waystation, but luckily there aren't any math fetishists to add you to the pile (hopefully). Talk to the scavengers and heed their warnings...if you want. Or perhaps you'll approach a shady individual for purchasing or selling stuff.
"Welcome, stranger!"

[There's a quirk to the corner of his lips, a shadow of a smirk and then it's gone again.]
I'll find out what I can and let you know. And if there's someone who's a bit more...long distance than you can reach with that ridiculous sword of yours, then...well, text me.

He looks a little surprised at the offer. He's not exactly used to Anders agreeing with him on anything, much less offering help with something he's doing. That's not how they function. He's not stupid enough to turn down help, though. ]
Hm. I suppose when you're not shoving your manifesto in people's faces, you are rather better at blending in. ...Okay.
[Another pause, then like it actually hurts him to say it: ]
Thank you.

He didn't like to think about it.
Luckily, Fenris' thanks offers a preferred distraction and he plays it off as though those words made him wince instead.]
I don't think I've ever heard those words come out of your mouth. I'm surprised you even know them.
[Yes, snarking was much easier to smile than having to work out working together on their own. This was were having Hawke to simply follow around was easier.]
Either way...you're welcome.

Still, this feels weird and uncomfortable. It felt weird and uncomfortable when Anders was younger here, before Justice and life in general wore him into who he is now. It's even more so, now. Ugh.]
I happen to be very polite to the right people.
[ie: Not You. ]
Yes. Well.
[He's is really bad at this with Anders. This is far beyond 'normal' for either of them. ]

[He only half believes it. But any doubts he has over Fenris' politeness pale in comparison to his overwhelming desire to extract himself from the moment. He'd made his offer and they were, albeit temporarily, on the same page.
It was time to go.]
Well.
[And that was about as good as his good-bye got. Anders nodded in Fenris' general direction and slipped back into the grungy pathways of the ramshackle waystations, hopefully sparing them from anything more...weird.]
