[the face that greets the network looks a little relieved to have figured out the communicator, and her eyes light up, albeit briefly, before she looks around. She mutters as she brushes the confetti out of her hair]

They don't really warn you when you're going to be moved, do they . . .

[she clears her throat and turns her attention back to the screen]

Um, h-hi, I'm Winnie and - okay, being in space is kind of really cool, but - could someone answer a few questions for me? A-And tell me how I can go back home? I really can't stay here, I was kind of - busy.

[what an understatement. She looks around again, then turns the camera to the pudding desserts]

And if anyone wants some of these, I'm on the - Bishop? I don't, uh - I'm not really hungry.

I guess it's their way of welcoming people . . . t-there was confetti too.

[she draws her hand back and crosses her arms]

[ He was distracted by his dead friend being alive again, but, hey. He can be forgiven. ]

So. How're you feeling?

It's really sudden, so - so it's easy to miss, at least?

[if she had decided to look around rather than stand there and be terrified for a few seconds, she probably wouldn't have noticed them either.

His question surprises her a little bit]

Feeling? Um, overwhelmed? [understatement] Not as much as I was, but - um. I'm not even used to the weird stuff in my world, let alone . . . all of this.

[ Finally grabbing a pudding, Zaveid goes and settles down against a wall, leaning back. ]

You get used to it. I guess that doesn't help, does it?

[she quirks a brief half-smile]

It kind of does. M-Maybe it won't be overwhelming for very long.

[airily]

And, hey. You've got a pretty decent crew around to help you out too!

T-That's good. I'm not - um. I'm not good at - people.

[airily]

Don't worry about it. We've got all sorts around here - we'll help you out.

Sure. Seraphim, Shepherds, humans, weird alien guys...

. . . and it's okay to - be open about it? Like, I-I won't get in trouble?

Sure. Why would you get into trouble?

That's what I was told - back home, I mean. Because humans can't know things like me a-actually exist, because it's dangerous.

Well, plenty of humans know I exist now... When they can see me.

[seanced]

You can't make yourself visible?

[airily]

Nah. It's down to them to have the ability to see seraphim - not much I can do about it.

[seanced]

That sounds like a pain . . .

Nah, it's kinda fun when they can't see me but they can hear me.

. . . I guess haunting people is kind of a little fun.
