[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

Wouldn't it be better to just clean tomorrow or next week? Or never? [Trying to throw a cup away and accidentally phasing the trash bag so it keeps falling through. So much harder to control everything while drunk.] Grr.

[ he wraps an arm around her shoulder, buries his head in her hair and nuzzles. ]

Mmmhm. You should go to sleep, we'll take care of this.

[Happy go be solid for him. Warm boyfriend.] Mmmmm...no. Not abandoning you. Just trying to make you irresponsible like me.

[ letting out a little whine ] It's being irresponsible that got me in this mess...

[ why did he drink so much with ravi? he's so. tired. coffee, work! ]

Yes, but you have to follow through on the irresponsibility.

I tried, but Hank keeps foiling me.

[passingthrough]

Want me to phase him into space? [Kidding. Kidding. Mostly kidding.]

I know it was really good - but he's just dressed like Superman, it wasn't really him. Trust me, when it's him, you'll know. [ there will be so much girly squealing. ]

What a weird way to respond to an assassination offer. [But he is pretty clearly drunker than she is.] So you like Superman?

[winn]

Do you like Captain America?

[ he shakes his head, the look in his eyes screaming admiration. ]

Superman, he's - he's Superman. [ how can he explain? ] He's inspiration, he's hope, he's - really futzing awesome.

Futzing awesome? That's some high praise. [You're adorable. Is this a crush too?]

I think Captain America is amazing.

[winn]

[ can you tell he's been hanging around kate a lot? ]

Superman is my Captain America, except alive in my days. I used to pretend he would come to my room and be my best friend - don't tell Kara. [ this is 100000% a crush. ]

I won't. [Kissing his forehead. She didn't need Captain America to rescue her when she was safe with her parents and grandfather listening to those stories. She thought he was great for helping others though. When she was alone and needed rescuing it was the X-Men that came to her. No one ever came for little Winn who needed someone. He had to save himself. He didn't get heroes until recently.]

He'd be lucky to have you as a best friend. I know I am.

[winn]

[ she's saying something very sweet. he should be focusing on that. but he's drunk, he's tired -- and the thought that superman might like him is making him an excitable kid again. ]

You really think he'd like me?

[passingthrough]

[She messes with his hair.] I don't know him, but sure. What's not to like?

[winn]

[ he just smiles gleefully, suddenly very awake. ]

I'm connected now -- oh my god I might actually meet him someday! [ which is not a new thought but it's thrilling every time it comes up! ]

[passingthrough]

Sure. I mean, doesn't he ever visit Kara? [You know, when they aren't in a reality show space fleet.]

[winn]

Well, he came by once to rescue her when she started Supergirling but she was not happy - if he's been by since she hasn't told me about it.

[ which breaks his heart both for himself and for her. ]

Tell her that you want to meet him.

[winn]

[ eyes going wide, he shakes his head. ]

I can't do that. He's Superman. [ and he's just...well he's his cousin's best friend who helps her with everything she needs but he also never asks her for anything and this is a huge thing to ask for and what if he hates him?? his heart will break irreparably! superman is cool, he's friends with cool people like james. ]

Okay, okay. [She'll tell her then.]

But I'm serious about you being a great guy, Winn. And if this Superman is as great as you seem to think then I think he'd be happy to meet you.

[winn]

He's better - you'll see when we get home.

[ nobody who didn't grow up looking up to superman, idolizing him, fantasizing about being rescued by him or better yet - helping him save the world - will ever see him the way he does, but he's still an amazing guy. ]
