Daenerys | Open
Anyone looking for Dany could find her in the Kitchens, aboard the Bridge or in the Cargo Bay tending to the plants while Drogon lay against his rock garden.]
[ cargo bay ]
He stops by the Cargo Bay, watching and not alerting her to his presence just yet. ]
no subject
As for being watched, she has yet to notice it just yet. Not that she wasn't left completely unaware, of course. If there was a threat Drogon would have sensed it long before she even reacted. Strange that her dragon was intrigued enough not to react to Leto's presence. It didn't stop him from watching him, of course.]
What do you think? Will they grow, sweetling?
[Breaking the silence, she reaches out for Drogon to caress the scales along his back. Instead of answering her with any sound at all, he chooses to return to the lizard-shaped ball he favored under his warm lamp that Pinkie had made for him and her own animal companion. It was the closest thing he had to the sun while aboard the ship.]

It's a bit hard to miss a girl and her dragon, especially in a small space, and he smiles when he sees her. ]
Been awhile, Danny. How have you been?
no subject
Well enough, I think. Keeping busy, as always.
[She moves to sit at their small table in the kitchens, gesturing to Kirk with his coffee mugs.]
Does the Tourist not have enough beverages?
[She's teasing, really. She just has no idea why he's here.]
no subject
[ Her joke earned a soft laugh as he filled them. ]
No, nothing like that. Our coffee maker has actually been in a good mood as of late, believe it or not.
I came over to see Bones - ah, that is, Leonard McCoy. Your new lab support. He's from my world - part of my ship, actually. He's my CMO - Chief Medical Officer.

[cargo bay]
That's before he sees the dragon, which is enough to make him snap his guard up, to start worriedly looking around for wherever the parent of that thing could be.]
I don't want any trouble.
sorry for the late <3
And you will not have it here.
[Slowly she rises to her feet and turns to face him while the dragon stared at their new guest without blinking.]
Can I help you?
'tis fine!
I was looking for the captain.
[Somewhat less important in the face of things.]
Does the dragon live here?

Leonard McCoy | ota
[After some time on the Caprine, McCoy still wasn't sure if the transporters were better or worse than this fleet's version of teleportation. Either way, both are awful. Not meant for humanity, etc etc etc, and all sorts of Not Right.
Not that anyone ever listens to him about it.
At least he's off the Marsiva. One good thing in a sea of awful.
He explores the ship fairly well, making one large mental note about the difference to the Enterprise. He's not used to such a small ship. He can be found in the kitchen now and again, mostly drinking a glass of orange whatchmacallit and staring in dismay at what passes for food.
He spends a good bit of time in the medical bay; one has every chance of wandering in on him rearranging things to his liking. As he does so, there's a good bit of unflattering muttering about all of this in general.]

Hey! You the new crew? I'm Finn. Security.

Not a whole lot of doctors on the Fleet - we're glad to have you. I'll try not to get beat up too much.
[He might be a tad accident-prone, if you can call running into people he hates an accident.]

[Pinkie's actually a little relieved to see there aren't any names dropping off her ship's roster for once. Even better, there's the sound of somebody coming beaming onto the ship! So off she rushes to the bridge to meet... this new human, whoever he is!]
Hi there~! Welcome to the Caprine! I'm Pinkie Pie, what's your name?
no subject
Leonard McCoy. [It's a flat tone, not quite right, and probably would be overwhelmed if he allowed emotion into it right now.]
no subject
Nice to meet you, Leonard McCoy! How're you liking space so far? I know the Atroma take a lot of people that haven't been here before. Heck, back in my world, we don't even really HAVE space travel yet outside of books and plays!

Which meant that the moment he could get over the Caprine, he was going over. He doesn't even think about where to look, because he knows. It's the place he thought Bones would immediately begin spending the most time in because of whom he was - the medbay.
He marched to it and stopped in the doorway, watching him - and then promptly ran over and wrapped his arms around him in a hug. Surprise, Bones. ]
no subject
McCoy's in the midst of taking stock of what supplies are in the medbay; completely wrapped up in that, he honestly doesn't notice anyone at the door until he hears a footstep approaching. By then, it's too late to head the hug off at the pass.
Uh... Why he understands this whole timeline thing screws with people, he wasn't quite expecting that. (Should have been, all things considered. It's Jim Kirk, after all.) Surprise, indeed. His breath leaves him with an oof and he staggers a bit at the unexpected contact before draping an arm over Jim's shoulder.
Okay. Hi?]
no subject
So of course he hugged him, even though he wasn't really prone to that, but he had been getting a lot of hugs lately between Kara and Bev and maybe he had picked up the habit. Either way, he gives Bones' back a brotherly pat and steps back. ]
Not even five minutes, and you're already putting yourself to work.

In an attempt to at least try to start them off on a good foot, Dany stops to see McCoy once he's settled into his post in the medical bay. Leaving Drogon behind might make it a little less intimidating, she decided. She'd learned quickly most did not react well to a dragon draped over her shoulders like a pet lizard with wings who breathed fire.]
Hello?
[She knocks lightly on the door, peeking her head in. Busy or not, you have a petite girl with silver-blonde hair in your doorway, Bones.]
no subject
It's just familiar and this is what settles his mind.
He looks up the knock and sets aside a small bottle as he straightens.] Hello. Can I help you?

Kai Gracen | Open
Sometimes, he's in the kitchens, muttering out a curse after trying some of the food available, or working on the grip of the gun in his hand, or doing pushups in the open space he can find to try to keep himself in shape.
If he spots someone else around, he'll cut off what he's doing.]
Don't think we've met yet.
You crew on this thing?
no subject
Yep. [He props his hip against a counter, cradling his coffee in both hands.] Doctor Leonard McCoy. I've only been on board a week or so.
no subject
[Kai ponders for a second then opts not to offer his hand out, since the doctor's hands are occupied.]
There anything around that's actually edible?
