[ even if he got over his fear of heights, he may keep it to himself just cuz he's got a feeling he'll be getting that argument from both of them. well, not the mid-air kiss thing, but the dibs on taking him up. ]

[How does mid-air kissing not tip the balance in her favor? Is it because she didn't actually say it? It was implied!]

[ that, and he's very protective of kara's feelings. he's been trying his hardest to make sure she doesn't feel replaced or sidelined because he knows how sucky a feeling that is. ]

I promise if I ever want to air walk, you'll be my first call.

Good. [Kissing him softly but slowly.] How are your legs holding up?

[ kissing back. ]

Great, I can feel my twisted ankle now.

[ he smiles though, so it's clearly not bothering him too much. ]

What? Wiiiiinn. [She sits up so she can scoot down and investigate.] Which ankle?

Only to a doctor. [She gently shifts his pant leg up and feels over the ankle. Not her first time. Mild first aid is a thing with the X-Men. Not like they had doctors or healers.]

[ pulling himself up to a sitting position. ]

I think it'll just pass, doesn't hurt bad. I've had worse gaming injuries.

[She gently moves it watching his reactions in case he shows pain above what he's expressing to her.] Okay, seems like it is just twisted. [Eyebrow up] How do you get gaming injuries?

I promise, I don't like pain. If it hurt, I'd tell you to get someone.

[ he loves that she worries, and at the same times it can be a little much sometimes. ]

Eh, a lot of repetitive motions with fingers and not moving everything else for most games. And then you got your dance mats and wii games that include the occasional too much moving the everything else in the wrong way.

[Hey, she's letting this one go. She had to check. He doesn't take the best care of himself. She slides his pants leg back down and leans forward to kiss him.] Dance mats? [She didn't understand wii either and took it as we, but the dancing caught her attention.]

Yeah I'm actually -- working on one. [ sheepish. he wanted to surprise her but it's going to be a long time still, and things keep popping up.

You basically have to match the dance you see on the screen. It's pretty fun.

[ yeah it's mostly because of her - she doesn't seem to like to karaoke with them and he thought she'd enjoy playing a game that's tailor made for her. but he'd also enjoy playing with her, even if he'll do nothing but lose spectacularly. ]

Fun is good. [She feels a little embarrassed for being presumptuous now.]

Plus, it's gonna be great watching you totally kick Cisco's butt.

[ big smile. he's the best friend ever. ]
